  Why is that?

  Been to lots of free screenings but last time when I went to York for (Salmon fishing in the Yemen) they said all tickets had gone :( Apparantly there we 15 to 20 people extra turn up that could not get in - either they over subscribe & usually not everyone turns up or this could have been a one off? As I say never happened at any other screening I have been to before. I did travel but had also wanted to go out shopping in York & spend the day anyway.

  Happened to me once and my 3 mates. The cinema manager said they always sell more tickets than the number of seats available. I guess he could tell we were disappointed as he was kind enough to let us see other movie free of charge.

  I've been turned away twice from Brighton. Best get there early to avoid disappointment. But each time i was turned away i complained to the website and was given free cinema tickets.
