I signed up to paddypower the other week...placed my £10 bet and the FREE matched on Man City to beat Man Utd at 3-1...nice return of £70.

Thanks Sven:thumbsup:

Sunder land 14-1 to win this...I might sign up for another freebie matched bet somewhere, would be brilliant if Mr Keane could scupper the hair dryer...:giggle:

Isn't it free already or is that just on the XL package?

anyone really missing sky one?

Not really!

Never watched it much before anyway, except for the simpsons which is on channel 4 now, and lost and the 24 being the BIG shows they are were and will be continued to be viewed on the net via download or streaming sites!

Sky one is NOT the amazing channel that sky are so DESPERATLEY trying to make out!:p
#32
If you have the old NTL family pack (which is now called XL with VirginMedia) you get Setanta 1 & 2 and Setanta Golf for free automatically. My husband was looking at the channels the other day and discovered we had them - have no idea when they came live, and they didn't tell us they were coming.
#33
Thanks Herby :)
#34
should I be able to see Setanta 1 and 2 if I'm on sky without a sub ? Australian rugby league at the moment but I thought the free weekend was Virgin only. Unless they scramble for live matches ?
#35
This offer is for Virgin Media only.
#36
Setanta sometimes have freeview periods on Sky and then they lock the channel just before football starts.

I've not missed the Sky channels either since they went, only 24 and Prison Break would be nice but as already said I'm sure I will be able to find other means to watch it! :whistling:

I hope Sentata have success with this as competition can only be a good thing for customers in the end. Would Virgin customer have got Setanta part of the XL package if the football had stayed with Sky.... I think not!
#37
Dad watched this a bit, but wasnt that impressed
