Showers have become more popular in the last 30 years, from less than 20% of homes owning a shower in the 1970s to
about 85% ownership today. Nowadays, showers use around 12% of the water used in the household. By being water efficient in the shower you can save money not only on your water bill, but on your energy bill too, whilst protecting the environment.

This 2 minute sand timer is simple to use. Place the suction on the wall of your shower, and swivel the timer every time you have a shower.

For all those who take long showers, have large water bills, or simply run out of hot water.

Be aware of your water consumption when you shower. Pretty soon you will be showering in record time!

The timer is the part on the left - the rest is a removeable backing card for the item. :)

All you need to do now is learn how to take a proper shower in 2 minutes:whistling:

What a daft notion.

And for 25 minutes you can dry yourself off after the shower as well:giggle: :giggle:

What if you're only half way through washing your hair and the last grain drops?
#14
Better still have a nice long soak in a bath and waste loads of water ;-)
#15
2 minutes? it takes me longer than that to get in after ive swicthed the water on. plus i use a 3 minute conditioner lol. i think 10 minutes would be more achieveable.
#16
tight
#17
Do you think this would work for a 15 year old daughter? mmmmmmmmmmm lol.

Why not switch it off for the 3 minutes you need to leave the conditioner on.

Great idea - my teenage daughter swears i exaggerate when i tell her she has been in the shower for 20 minutes!!
#21
At my B+Q these were by the tills, I had to ask an SA for one.
#22
Someone has already alluded to this, but these are perfect for children for brushing their teeth. The British Dental Association recommend that you brush your teeth for 2 minutes, but try getting children to do that accurately.
#23
couldnt see them at my local one
#24
Thanks - heat added:thumbsup:
#25
2 mins is really pointless. This would actually be useful if it was more closer to 10 mins or above.
#26
Problem is....how do you see the sand with all the steam in there!

It is a good idea though...
I can be up showered and out in 10 minutes anyway....
but my son....well thats a different matter

Heat given
#27
Great reduce one of the few pleasures in life, a good wash:-(
