These were previously only free for Sky movies customers and cost £21.95 otherwise, though I know there was a previous deal for £9.99. But you can't get better than free, and you don't even need to call Sky to get it - just login and click!

To say thanks for being a Sky customer, you can now register to claim a free wireless connector to bring our On Demand service to your TV.

If you have a compatible black Sky+HD box and a broadband connection, and you have never connected to On Demand, click the Claim Now button.

Then, enter your Sky username and password when asked. (Need help with your username or password?)

Never connected? That's a massively limited market then!

Still, if you qualify, might as well eh?

Says I was unsuccessful. Although I have 3 HD boxes, 2 multi room subscriptions, everything but movies, oh and HD subscription. Even my broadband and phone are with them. Thanks Sky. I've even been with them since 1992. Seriously looking T alternatives.

You’ve never connected to On Demand. Have you previously connected your Sky+HD box to your broadband router?
You have a compatible Sky+HD box. (How do I find out if my Sky+ box is compatible?)

Although you weren’t successful this time, you can always check out your My Sky to do list today. You’ll discover all the great things you get as part of your Sky package, all at no extra cost.

Then do it... You and I both know you have been with Sky since 1992 because you wanted to, not through some sense of loyalty. Sky owe you nothing.

I wonder if I could use the same argument with Tesco though. "I've been shopping here 20 years and they still charge me full price - shocking, I'll switch to Asda".

I had a new multiroom install on Friday and the engineer gave me a free wireless connector. They have 25,000 to give away to people taking out a new multiroom subscription. If you are thinking of taking this out, make sure you ask the engineer when he arrives

Worked for me. Thank you

Thanked me for registering and said to allow up to three months for delivery so I'll wait and see!

Thank you for your interest in an On Demand connector
Congratulations. You’ve successfully registered
We’ll be in touch in the next three months to let you know it’s on its way. We’ll also let you know if we’re unable to send one due to high demand.
This offer is incredibly popular, so please allow up to three months from this confirmation for delivery.
And be sure to check out your My Sky to do list where you’ll discover all the great things you can get as part of your Sky package, all at no extra cost.

Worked for my sister thanks

On reflection I'll keep Sky. I'm just thinking its not bad for £50 a month due to my loyalty discount, and I shouldn't get disgruntled due to being unsuccessful over not getting a little box.

Call them up and ask about if it doesn't work, it worked for one of my friends. They said that he should expect a letter in the post in the next few days, but he was then able to get this deal immediately.

If Tesco were charging me full price but new customers were getting really good deals I would definitely go to Asda.

Got mines a few weeks back for free, but it won't connect to my network, so I'm going to stick to my wired connection which worked a treat

I have a basic Sky package, Sky Talk (phone) and Sky Unlimited (if it's still called that) ADSL broadband.

I do not have a Sky movies subscription and I do not have a Sky HD subscription.
#24

I paid £9.99 for mine and have just had a very long online chat with an advisor who after 1/2 an hour agreed to make a refund to my account. If you have paid for one, give it a go.

dont worry mate... sky is crap... i was a customer for 2+ years and recently i moved home where there is an active phoneline ...they dint even TRY to help in getting it transferred...they talked as if i am nothing to them...recently they extended my tv contract by 12 months without even telling me on call when i requested for a package change..though they told 'apologies for not following proper process' later... sky hardly reduces a penny for an existing customer if they are leaving/unsatisfied or even sky commits a mistake as a token of being sorry...

so whom do you call 'loyal' then? someone who don't really need sky but still allows SKY to milk out 50 quids every month?. Any good company will reward a customer for STAYING LONG. also there is no obligation or need for sky to reduce price for its loyal (long staying) customers but hey a good gesture is what any nice company will do

worked for me thank you. Have some HEAT 8)

Got mine last week. Took about 4-5 days to arrive. heat added. I've no idea why this offer is cold!

I have found Skys CS to be pretty good overall.

everytime i see this sky wireless box on freebies i think this my chance to get one

unfortunately there's always a catch with me and i'm ineligible one way or another :(
#34
I phoned sky today and got 12 months tv half price and free line rental for 12 months.
#35
Just switched to Virgin, Sky don't really care and didn't offer us anything great until we actually rang to tell them we were actually cancelling, even then they wouldn't match the deal Virgin was offering and were still £20 a month more expensive, and thats not taking into acccount the 6 months half price we got and the cashback. If you don't care about Sky Atlantic and F1 and have fibre optic in your area it's a no brainer.
