Tried it last night set the alarm for 6.50am and it woke me at 6.22am felt completely awake and was happy to get up at that time. If you find yourself tearing yourself out of your sleep then it might be worth the cost of a bar of chocolate.

Yes - but how did it know that you would feel completely awake at 6.22? (Given you imply it was first time of use). Your review would be a bit different if it decided to wake you at 5.36 and you felt knackered all day!

I think the app uses motion detection. You calibrate it before use, so I think it monitors how much you move whilst you sleep I am guessing that in deep sleep you move a lot less so it does not wake you whilst in deep sleep but wakes you at your lightless sleep cycle before the time you set. Used it again last night set the alarm for 6.20 and it woke me a 6am, again felt awake so got up. One thing to be aware of is that is it very heavy on the battery.
