Superdrug's Salon Radiance 10-minute hair dye range is being discontinued, and if you pick one up in store and present your Beautycard at the checkout, it'll be free. I tried it out today, the checkout girls didn't know anything about the offer (no real surprise, I only found out about it this week in a generic mailing list e-mail from Superdrug HQ, suggesting it's a national offer) but they tried scanning it with my Beautycard anyway and it did indeed go through as free. This will probably run until all stock is gone. I don't know if one Beautycard will allow for more than one freebie, but no need to be greedy anyway eh. :-)

I received an e-mail telling me about the offer, I presumed it was sent out to registered Beautycard holders.

Beautycards are free and well worth having, you get points from swiping it when making a purchase, and an accumulated 100 points gives you £1 to spend in-store. I went to buy mascara the other day and I paid for it with my points instead of cash. :)

boots card is better as you get more points per pound. this sounds like its only specific card holders shame

My local store knew nothing either, they just tried it for me anyway. Staff are never very well clued up on promotions like this, in my experience.

Salon Radiance isn't being discontinued this isn't quite right. If you read the email they are discontinuing certain Nice n Easy Perfect 10 dyes. If you have bought the discontinued Perfect 10 in the last 12 months with a registered Beautycard you will receive the offer, possibly to say sorry that they are no longing stocking the item. If you haven't bought Perfect 10 your card won't have been loaded with the offer. Check your emails if unsure or ask the cashier to swipe your card. The Terms state that you have until April to claim the free product so there's plenty of time!

This can't be entirely right either, I received the offer but have never bought hair dye in superdrug before.

Hello everyone, it’s the Beautycard Team here…

We are really thrilled that you are all so excited about our Salon Radiance hair dye (we are too)!

As Angie has hinted there does seem to be a bit of confusion, we are not discontinuing Salon Radiance for the foreseeable future, but we are very sad to say that we will stop selling certain Nice N' Easy Perfect 10 products in the next few months.

Anyone who has purchased the selected Nice N' Easy Perfect 10 products in the last 12 months and who is opted into emails; will have had their card loaded with the offer.

PurpleLassie, if you want to send us a query via Superdrug Facebook DM we can look into why you have received the promotion, just to check we have the right details for you.

The Beautycard Team sent out an email on the 6th of January 2015 to all customers who were eligible for the free product - so if in doubt please check your inbox and junk mail!

If you would like to receive offers like this in the future please pick up a Beautycard in store and register your card here (don't forget to opt-in for emails): http://www.superdrug.com/beautycard

With love,

The Beautycard Team x
