Have called talktalk to get new phone line and broadband connection, they are running a offer today - the activation fee is down from 79.99 to 29.99 and furhter 29.99 today that makes the new line activation for free

good deal but if anyone misses it then Sky only charge £10 to connect you as long as you get your line rental from them

Their billing department is inept, unhelpful, innumerate and dishonest. Until they sort that out, no talktalk offer is worth the bother.

never never join these scammers. Ive been tempted 3 times by them because of their cheap prices but the headache is not worthit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No problems with them whatsoever - 'I personally recommend them over BT, my previous supplier.

these idiots are a total nightmare to deal with, i cancelled with them last July because they couldnt connect my internet? even though we had a new phone installed via bt, took me until Dec to get my money back and to this day they are STILL trying to take money out of my bank account and i still get phone calls off them telling me i owe them £1.06p!

would not recommend TT to anyone!

phone and broadband never worked properly ... but I still had to pay monthly bills + pay disconnection fees before my contract ended (since I was not satisfied)

awful experience from start to finish and in the middle too

I agree with every negative comment,a shocking company to deal with,god forbid you have a problem,their customer service is a joke,when eventually you get to speak to someone(waiting,and paying for,20mins plus seemed the norm) you are then bounced around departments with no one willing to accept responsibility.Donteven get me started on the cancellation process - ignoring you is their favourite tactic here...... w***ers of the highest order.

ive been with them for over 3 years now no problem other than frequent disconnection from internet but i dont think thats their fault because my phone line wiring looks damaged but phone line works fine unless any of you guys have had the same problem and found not to be with a different supplier?

btw agree their cs is a joke you would need to wait 20mins just to talk to someone, i wanted to change supplier but my sister renewed again! for 2 years, wtf i would of said something but she pays the bill and switching is too much hassle for her.

they use a 0870 number to call them which is free from your talktalk line!

Not particularly helpful when you need to call them as your landline isn't working though!

In their defence, we've had "free" broadband from them since the very beginning (must be about 4 or 5 years now?) and have only had one problem with them (it turns out it was BT's fault but it took them a long time to figure it out).

Customer experiences with companies are very personal, and for every person you get moaning about them on the internet, there are hundreds more who are getting a decent service. I'd take any criticisms with a pinch of salt because of this. As I said, I couldn't be happier with them (well, I could if they were cheaper but they are reasonable as they are!).

Dreadful lot, we're about to switch.
Since they 'upgraded' us recently our net connection is intermittent, and when it does work it's aggressively capped.
who'd have thought we'd miss tiscali oO

They charged me £80 connection ok fair enough, they gave me a date for the engineer to arrive, ok fair enough. at midnight before they were due to arrive i recieved a text saying welcome to talk talk you are now connected !!! so not only have they charged me £80 for nothing, i am twice out of pocket as i had to book the day of work. Idiots !!!
