Free Thai Festival In Trafalgar Square

[email protected] 2010 is an exciting free public festival taking place at the world-famous Trafalgar Square on Saturday 5th June 2010 between 12 and 8pm.

Organised by the Royal Thai Embassy in collaboration with the Office of Commercial Affairs, the Office of Tourism Authority of Thailand, and other Thai offices in the UK, the event aims to strengthen the presence of the Thai community in the UK, to promote Thai culture, food, trade and tourism and to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Their Majesties the King and Queen of Thailands State Visit to London in 1960.

Visitors to the festival will enjoy traditional Thai dances by the Thai Dance Academy, authentic Thai puppet shows, and demonstrations of the world renown martial arts of Muay Thai, or Thai boxing, by fighters from the Master Sken Academy.
