Done this last year - went a couple of times and it was £25 each screening last year.
they hand out the cash at the end of the screening and give you some small snacks and a bottle of water but have someting to eat before you go as it's diffucult to leave and it can be a long wait .

Had to queue up fromm 4.30 and had to wait for sometimes up to an hour at times outside , left at 10.30 , dependent on screening . If too many people turned up and you were towards the back , you would be turned away .
It wasn't as bad a I thought when screening , just a bit boring when waiting around so best to carry something to keep you occupied .

The most exciting TV audience I was a part of was Trisha.. twice! But good old Trish provided complimentary coach travel to/from the studio in Borehamwood on one occasion.

Wish I could make it. I saw the UK version and you don't really need to speak the language to follow it. Just go WOOO when they mention money. There's a lovely Wimpy across the road too.

OMG, I thought you were joking but it's actually true. How long can we continue to ignore basic human rights? I'm astounded.

Worth going once guys...

No, they don't call - they simply email (which is still contact I guess). Print off the PDF/Email and you are in.

No receipts required - they simply pay the £20 at the end

Sameena - I will be on the next free flight to Saudi with you - I was lucky enough to win a free flight to Iran a few years ago.
Working my way round the Axis!

I also went to this showing last year at the £25 rate. Booked up fast and only got in once. Hard work for the money mind you - worse for £20, but then times are harder (I have already booked the 6 days that I can make this time) but you will enjoy it & the presenter is charming, honestly. Good tip on food - eat before you get inside, as it will be a fair few hours.

The UK version with Phillip Schofield was also available last time I looked, but they don't pay you for it!

J/king aside though.

It doesn't seem that unreasonable to accuse Saudi Arabia of being backward. "the most backward country in the world" may be stretching it a bit, but he gives his reason for thinking this: "women aren't allowed to drive". And in reality its general knowledge that there are many such inequalities between men and women there.

He's entitled to his opinion, even more so if he is willing to justify it.

What sticks in my throat is the self righteous brigade who start spouting their brain disengaged nonsense about how you can't have an opinion if they don't deem it politically correct enough.

Actually it is quite unreasonable to accuse them of being backward. Who are we to critisize another country? Afterall it's us in the Uk who have the highest teen pregancy rate in Europe and are home to an atrocious amount of binge drinkers. We're hardly in any position to pass judgements on others.

Adrian96 please write to the king and tell him exactly what you think. And I am sure you will get the answer you deserve. While the west were still living in caves the arabs were re-writting and mapping the universe as early as the 6th century. So i think they are 1000's of years ahead of most western countries. Who infact can only bully people around nothing more. But hey that'll come to an end in the next 30 years. :) enjoy!

And you have a chelsea badge on your avtar - explains a lot really!

very well said!

also i must admit, although they have certain reasons for some of their ways, which do make sense and are beneficial, i still find the way they treat women disgraceful!
Theres no equality when it comes to men and women back there. I believe its due to the culture as their religion tells them otherwise yet they deciphered most of their book wrongly and this has now become more culture than anything. Obviously tho, it benefits the men more then anything...

Think i explained that in the correct way o_O well its my 2cents anyways.

Also to burmingum... they may have been ahead of the western world in the 6th century, but i highly doubt people would agree they are now...

Not really an expert but I dont think it was just the 6th century, its believed to have started in mid 6th century lasting to around 17th century... :)

I remember writing - "the arabs were re-writting and mapping the universe as early as the 6th century"

Doesnt mean they stopped there. The biggest terrorist on earth are the Western Nato governments still try to thieve, rape and murder their ways through life. W ank57 you think you can make comments on tht internet how about trying to speak out, go down to your local muslim area and say it to someone there. ****!
#29
If you dont like arabs then tell your government to expell all of them - get the lot of them out of europe. Man women and children, KILL THEM ALL!!!!!
hehehe

Ooh I forgot one of you did try that about 60 years ago. hmm what happened to him?
#30
um, lemme think, when there's a bomb, a killing, etc why r all the culprits called - omar, or muhammed etc
#31
i'm sure he said ONE of the most backwards, not the most. and yes, he has every right to his opinion...free speech. I am still laughing about someone's attempt at spelling chauffered!!

As a matter of fact he didn't :) @muslim20112012, umm, lemme think going by your logic, when there's a case of child abuse, why r most culprits priests, or rev? :|
These words spring to mind:
"War is idiocy. We live on a small, small planet, and what we do to others is what we do to ourselves."

Live and let live!

You only have to watch the Jeremy Kyle show to see how backwards we must be percieved by other countries. oO

Sometimes i am ashamed to admit i am British.

Anyway its good for a free night out.

To get back on topic. I was wondering if anyone who has attended one of these shows could let me know what time we are likely to leave this show? I have tickets for the 5:30 filming next friday, I thought we would be leaving at half 9 at the latest but then I read a post in here saying a user left at 10:30. Just need to know to catch my train.

Cheers

There are two queues for this.

Priority Tickets are against the wall. Non Priority on main road next to the rails. There is no note about which queue is which so get in the right queue

Started around 6.40. You'll probably be seated around 6.15

Finished around 9.30 but you have to queue to get your money. You'll be given a form to fill out before you enter the studio. Best fill that before you hand it in at the end. You'll probably get out between 9.45 and 10.00

Enjoy.
