I went to the cinema to see 27 dresses after seeing a similar posting in March for it and you just take the cinema ticket confirmation email with you. I did not see anyone with anything but confirmation emails (ie. no times newspaper pages). You do need to register to get the tickets (but make sure you tick all the I do not want to be contacted boxes). Great post and still 187 tickets left at my local cinema for Tuesday at time of posting this reply. Thanks OP.

Edit. Just checked confirmation email and this is what it says (copied and pasted from email ticket confirmation).
TERMS & CONDITIONS:
Tickets are subject to availability and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis via the website. Readers who successfully claim tickets will need to print off the confirmation email with the booking number and take it along to the cinema on the day of the screening at the time given.
No cash alternative. No late admittance. The cinemas reserve the right to refuse admission. In the event of a dispute, the cinema manager's decision is final.
To the cashier
On presentation of this email, with a unique reference number, please admit a 2 persons to the screening detailed at the time given above.
If you are not able to attend this screening, please CANCEL your tickets so that others may use them. go to: www.screenbookings.com Click CANCEL and follow the instructions.

( excerpt from wiki)
"Gone Baby Gone is a critically acclaimed crime drama directed by Ben Affleck and adapted by Affleck and Aaron Stockard. The movie is set in Boston and is based on the novel of the same name by Dennis Lehane. It stars Casey Affleck and Michelle Monaghan as Patrick Kenzie and Angela Gennaro, two private investigators hunting for an abducted four-year-old girl in the Boston neighborhood of Dorchester. Amy Ryan received an Oscar nomination for her performance as Helene McCready."

trivia note: "The UK release was originally set for 28 December 2007 but was pushed back to 6 June 2008 due to the disappearance of Madeleine McCann."
