I have tried every wild cat name but can't find any more dates

I took my 9 year old son and 1 year daughter to this for free using the previous codes posted and they both loved it. It was excellent and worth paying to see if you can't get free tickets although not at the massively over priced £50 a ticket from ticket master!

A few tips

As usual drinks and snacks massively over priced so take your own. £2.50 for a 500ml pepsi and £4.50 for a small bag of popcorn. If you're taking a pushchair bear in mind you'll have to leave it unattended at the bottom of the stairs. Tents are a good 10-15 min walk from the entrance to the 02 so allow extra time for this. Finally, if you're planning on eating out too there is a ha ha bar at the 02 and until the end of March they have £10 off a £20 spend (same deal as in Jan). You can print a voucher from their website. We ate there and the food and service was very good even though it was busy. You can also use tesco restaurant tokens at ha ha and the slug and lettuce (also at the O2) if like us you're on a budget!

#16
Not working for me says due to over whelming support.

heard this is supposed to be great though.
#17
Not working, expired
#18
Have just tried the passwords, a message comes up "sorry, the closing date was 28th February"....is my watch wrong or isn't it the 28th today, and therefore the offer should still be open ! grrr
#19
expired :( seems the closing date isn't the end of the 28th, it IS the 28th! [i.e. 12am on the 27th]

Which I guess, is logical :)
#20
That's weird, it was working this morning.
#21
Thanks for the thanks. Have fun to everyone who managed to get tickets and good luck for next time to anyone who didn't. A great day out! lol
#22
good luckJamie! Have you heard if you've been successful yet? I applied again as my husband and our 6 year old daughter couldn't go last time and i'd quite happily see it again!
#23
Has anyone heard anything yet? I applied for 4th and a friend applied for 9th. Neither of us have heard anything yet. I sippose there's plenty time for the later dates but should I now assume I've been unsuccessful for 4th?

I didn't apply for any dates previously so I don't know how much notice you normally get or whether you get a rejection email so you know one way or the other.
#24
I got an email today saying I'll get tickets! Anyone else?
#25
I received some free tickets for the dates but now cannot go. On the EMail it says - id will be checked. I want to give these to family / friends to use. Anyone know if they check id? Would my address and EMail address be ok. Tried phoning number ( from another link ) but it's just ringing.

They didn't check id last time. I gave some of my tickets away and no one was checked. I even had one friend picking up tickets from the door after I had phoned the afrika-afrika people and my name had been added to the guest list. Why not give your friends a print out of the email you got just for your peace of mind.

But I don't think that it said id would be checked on the last lot of emails. Are they just normal tickets? Do they have your name on them?

Many thanks. I just EMailed them and they have confirmed this is not a problem.

Have no idea about checking ID but just wanted to add heat and rep. Got a confirmation email this morning as did my partner. Didn't succeed last time so really looking forward to aking the children on Sunday!

Does anyone know how long the process of collecting the tickets is, as the email says by 6.30 and would like to know what time I should arrive?

The queue to collect tickets was enormous last time around! We had matinee tickets and picked them up early and then went off for something to eat. When we went back 10mins before show time there must have been at least 100 people in the queue!!!! The show was delayed because of it. Although other posters here commented that they just opened the barriers and let people in in the the end.

So my advice is get there early and then go off and have a drink or a bite to eat.
#31
So they don't sent the tickets anymore? Do I have to collect them on the day? Would have been better if you could collect another day. You just say the name the tickets are under and you get them straight away? Just don't want a wasted journey!

I replied to the EMail address that the confirmation came from and they responded very quickly.
Hope this helps.

We went to see it yesterday evening...

First of all, I have to say it was absolutely fantastic!!! All the good things I've heard or read about it turned out to be true. We left gobsmacked and positively overjoyed... Thanks to the OP for that, here's some rep' to say thanks for the wonderful evening we had.

As for the tickets, Wednesday is obviously a quiet day, being the middle of the week and all, but it was quiet beyond expectation. We came in at around 7:20pm (the show is supposed to start at 8pm) and got our tickets right away, no queue whatsoever. I had printed the mail they sent me so it went all smoothly. Then we got inside the tent, where an Arabian Nights atmosphere awaits you.

As you would expect, they have food and drinks and plenty of Afrika Afrika-themed products (programme, CDs, specialities, African art items etc) to spend your hard-earned cash. To be honest the prices are rather on the high side (count £2.50 for a 250ml apple or orange juice or a 500ml bottle of still water) and you're not allowed to take your own food or drinks in, but as the tickets were free we were eager to sample the appetising dishes. The lamb ragout served with bulgur was priced at £4.50 for a portion that might leave you a bit hungry, but I have to say that it was absolutely delicious and well worth the price.

We eventually went on to get our seats, it turned out that the free tickets entitle you to a seat in the further part of the tent, although it's not all that big either. But as most of the seats were empty we were able to just walk down the stairs and sit right in front of the stage. Nobody really cares as there's a lot of empty seats. Be careful though as people that paid for a seat will have seat numbers booked for them.

The show lasts for 2h30 including a 30-minute intermission. Be sure you come back for it early enough because some other people from the upper aisles tried to move closer too and some of the seats got taken. As you wouldn't t have assigned seats you couldn't claim them back... Or if it happens to you, try to bluff the squatters off, lol! But remember that those people probably got tickets from HUKD too so let's all be respectful.

Anyway, I hope you had a wonderful time and that you enjoy it as much as I did...

Thanks for the info Kiddson, going tomorrow...and on Sunday.

Anyone know if its better to drive down to the O2 or to take the tube? Its just that the missus is almost 7 months pregnant and would prefer the most stressless mode of getting there and back as I've heard about traffic holdups in the carpark.

All comments gratefully received

We parked there a few times and never found it any worse than any supermarket car park (which implies a bit of waiting wherever you'll try). Or maybe we've just been lucky...

In theory the car park is also used by occasional commuters so at that time it should be fine. In any case you should probably go early as you surely don't want to run and rush the missus, and there's a bit of a walk between the car park and the tent itself (you'll walk through most of the O2). :)
