They only show previews at the bigger branches. Our local Odeon has screens the size of a big telly in an 'auditorium' no bigger than aunty Edna's front room.

They still charge nine quid for popcorn and a drink though, so at least your pocket feels like it's had a night out.

if anyone's interested in recommedations for DVD sets to look out for - this movie is from the makers of the modern-classic US TV shows 'Freaks and Geeks' and 'Undeclared' - most people here haven't heard of them but they're definitely worth checking out, particularly F&G - I think they might only be in region 1...

You can print out a ticket or show an sms (text message) to the cashier.
() The website will email you 2 days prior to the film showing with the option to print a ticket. (this is a movie promotion site after all! excellent people!)

I Agree with you about the Metrocentre v The Gate (Newcastle) It's just a much better place to compliment a good film! Much better 'ambiance' and better places to eat!!

And this IS a good film!
#35

I can only go on IMDB.com reviews from the states to judge the quality of the film (above).

But I can tell you for sure that the reason you are watching it for free is a 'pre-screening event' in order to bolster 'word of mouth' on what to see!
