I have been using Virgins PC Guard and last week started experiencing problems with my PC. I disabled PC Guard and Installed McAffe Anti Virus and it found over 1200 files infected with the Trojan virus. I have always been really careful. It ended up in me having to completely rebuild my computer. I now use McAffe.

Couldn't agree more, Mcafee isn't that much of a step forward from PC Guard.

Avira AntiVir has consistently received the best detection ratio's in numerous independant tests over the last year or so.

Best free Antivirus available IMO.
