Hmmm... This seems abit iffy :S Not sure, can i get banned?
your right to be cautious but I wouldn't post anything illegal!, as said the games where all given away free (like harms way and crash course are now on the xbox marketplace) just after a time they change them for new free stuff and take them offline, If it was illegal you need to mod your xbox to play the games. that's how people get banned
You need to burn the ISO file to a CD or DVD
No. You can't get banned for playing these games. They are all offered free of charge so there's no licence to purchase.
Hexic HD is usually pre-loaded into new HDDs when you buy them. The rest are or were free to download.
You'll also need an Xbox Live Vision Camera to play Totem Ball. It doesn't work with Kinect, unless they patched it in.
You need to make sure that your USB is formatted by the Xbox to recognise the files. Try copying an arcade game onto it to get an idea of what folders to put the files in for it to read them. You can then just copy them onto your HDD. If you have a transfer cable, use Xport360 or Modio to put them directly onto the HDD.

I've been playing with using usb xbox explorer Download latest version 44 here
once you configured a usb stick on the xbox360 then run the above program you can put the files on a usb stick and they can run from there or you can copy them off the usb stick on to the xbox hard drive
there is a great guide here on how to do it

EDIT: Just read but still not convinced :S
If anything should ease your suspicions then it should be this simple bit of info...
Try copying an Xbox game, and see if it works on your Xbox 360....
Result? It does not work as it's protected content.
Try copying an Xbox 360 Update to a disc and playing it in an Xbox 360
Result? It works!!
Point being, if an Xbox 360 can run content copied to blank media without the machine being modified then it is not violating any terms set out by Microsoft, which is why Home Brew stuff created by Xbox 360 Users runs from Blank Media.
Pretty much the same reason as to why this runs off Blank Media.

So are you saying don't play these?
Thanks to jamsk1 for the USBXTAFGUI tip. Works a charm.
Just as with retail games, it's always better to install any game to the xbox hardrive rather than running from disc or USB.
So which folders or files do I burn?
oh and ps nothing here is hacked it just free stuff that was given away on xbox!

Running from disc isn't worth it - even if they're free that's a chunk of your life that you won't get back waiting for them to load... took me back to Spectrum days.
