Anybody happen to have a time machine?
Doritos dash
Hexic HD
Harms way
all currently free (and have for some time)
There are quite a few, I think I have had about 8-10 free games, just got to keep your eye out
From the free weekends I'd say Xbox live is probably better than PSN, but not worth paying for. PSN+ is pretty good but you it is a rental service at the end of the day so when the new gen of consoles come out and you stop subscribing you'll lose all your games.
If you're a hotUKdeals member you could probably get the free stuff very cheap.

I think that they may carry over PS+ to the next gen, tbh.

I have an Xbox plus live gold sub - when you hear that the PS+ service will give their users 10 games and 3 more per month after that, for the year, you do start questioning Microsoft's way of going about Xbox Live Gold subscription. Where are those kind of exclusives for gold subscribers? I also find it quite annoying that you must have live gold to use the youtube app. Especially when you still get ads on those youtube videos. Thank god the BBC held their iPlayer away till it was agreed to be free for all users, not just gold users. It's sad that 4OD and 5ive didn't do the same thing.
It's this kind of setup which makes me wonder why I haven't bought a PS3 yet. But then, my PC more than caters for my online gaming needs, as well as online streaming. Mind you, with iPlayer on Xbox, I have started using it and like it. Makes me use my Xbox more than usual....hint hint Microsoft... :P
No one is forcing you to pay for it. If people stopped paying then M$ would be forced to follow psn. Just saying...

I have a ps3 and 360 and a decent gaming pc, The pc and 360 get far more use than the ps3, especially for online games (PC still gets a lot of use though), Xbox live is a far more polished service than PSN
Either way from the Xbox Rewards scheme I have already got over 1000 points out of it (300 last month from playing Forza 4 online, watching iPlayer and Youtube videos as part of the triple play promo) and that is just from the survey + the odd promo they run
