Sunday evening..A lovely time for a movie? for those who have not watched it:

Zeitgeist: Moving Forward [Jan 2011]

by director Peter Joseph, is arranged into four successive parts. Within each part is an amalgam of interviews, narration and animated sequences.

Part I: Human Nature
Part II: Social Pathology
Part III: Project Earth
Part IV: Rise

Zeitgeist: Moving Forward is a 162 minute film work which continues what the prior two films of the Zeitgeist Film Series started: a critical look at the “Zeitgeist” or ‘Spirit /Awareness of the Time’. A prominent underlying thesis of the Film Series is that a great many notions, beliefs and practices currently engaged in today and assumed as “presupposed”, “given” or seemingly empirical to our societal approaches and values are not only intellectually/historically incorrect but highly detrimental to our personal and social progress and sustainability.

Zeitgeist: Moving Forward focuses on the very fabric of the social order: Monetary-Market Economics. While the majority of the world today have slowly come to see some basic flaws in the economic system we share, as large scale debt defaults, inflation, industrial pollution, resource depletion, rising cancer rates and...

its done well though and is pretty convincing. Until you look into their facts and discover its total BS

just as bad as the 911 conspiracy films - film makers became millionaires from it though ;)

Watched it last night, lots of BS as other posters have commented - but one or two interesting ideas.

Must admit I didn't know about the 3D printing technology.

I think my main problem with this film is if there was a major revolution it would need to be world wide (even captalism has never been world wide) and how would we cope in the long transistion period to the new system, everyone who exists at this moment who has been effected for years by the capitalism system isn't just going to switch to being perfect new world citizens over night. There's some nice sentiment in the film and some geninue concerns for the future but the film raises more questions than it provides answers.

A good film will definitely raise more questions and further examination and dialoge, just like a good book..i think it is part of what makes it good.
