  hardly worth it, people are stupid... as a piddly 100 points only has a value of 50p when redeemed! NECTAR - the biggest con ever! save 1000 points to get a fiver off your shopping that is YOU have to spend £1000 by the way one point given per pound. Rip off.

  totally agree, Sainburys prices are OTT and the Nectar card is about the biggest flop loyalty card ever. I estimated it took me over 5 years to get £15 off recently , I don't shop there all the time but when I do, am broke, because they overcharge already , read

  it is a comical insiders look by a girl who worked there on the checkouts, it sounds a terrible shop to work in and all the customer cons are exposed. Including the rip off known as Nectar points. Got to laugh at the amount that needs spent instore to gain points....totally backwards shopping!

  Not an awful offer. You realise you can use your nectar card on practically every online shop too right? Its pretty easy to rack up points. In the last year Ive had about £100 from nectar. You can collect on ebay, amazon, play.com, hmv, dell, apple store, currys, homebase....list goes on and on...As for sainsburys being expensive...hardly. I shop their regularly and find it no more expensive then the tesco round the corner. They have offers on sometimes and sometimes tesco do, but their average standard prices are barely different.
