    For those that are not too familiar with the paypal site, to find the pre-approved payments screen, login to paypal:

    Click "Profile" at the top
    Select "My Money" on the left
    On the right side of the "My preapproved payments" row click "Update"
    Click "IGN Entertainment" then click the Cancel button and IGN Can Not Charge you anymore

    Try your username @ign.com guys. I had multiple filefront profiles on my e-mail addy that I used to sign up (I only noticed it was different because the password was different). When using username@ign.com and the password I signed up for prime with, it all worked fine. Hope this helps someone

    Registration for IGN isn't working on the prime page linked in the first post, but just go to uk.ign.com/ and register there. Then use your new log in details on the prime page and you'll be able to register for the free trial.

    This is an excellent deal, you get 15% off on gamersgate.co.uk forever, as well as 2 free steam games.

    Also in settings, there's an option to turn auto-renew off. Do that and cancel paypal payments, just to be sure.

    Ok that login page is ridiculous. I copy and pasted because I was 100% sure I put it in correctly and it doesn't like it.

    If you scroll to the bottom of your IGN Prime page, there is a manage account button, from there you can easily cancel.

    Every time I try to redeem a code or get an extra, it redirects me saying … Every time I try to redeem a code or get an extra, it redirects me saying I don't have prime, but it I retry the trial signup it tells me I've already used my trial.Not working.


    You can either contact IGN support or register a new email account and then a new IGN account and try again. It has taken me a couple of days and about 4 different accounts to sign up, I only just managed to get the code for GamersGate. I still can't any of the free games though.

    Edit: Try clearing your cookies/cache in your browser and try again or if you are using chrome use the incognito mode and then try again. I have just redeemed the game keys whilst in incognito mode.

    For some reason it's not letting me create an account Tried it with numerous email addresses as well, it's all coming back the same; User cannot be registered. Please try other nickname/email. Anyone else getting this?

    Edit; Managed to create an account on IGN but it's not letting me do this what so ever (When it asks if you're already an ign member it keeps coming up saying incorrect details) really weird! Nice freebie anyway.

    Not working, either somebody has used all my emails to sign up or the site is glitching. :P

    Edit: Yep; everything I try is a disaster, I can't even sign up using Facebook or Yahoo or Google.

    Doesn't even work on the main uk.ign.com page. Looks like this is fake.

    It says email already registered when I know for sure that I have never registered on IGN before.
    The fact that "forgot password" doesn't even work on IGN website makes this whole thing a marketing fraud for advertising purposes:

    "We have temporarily disabled Password Recovery while we transition to a new login and registration system. We apologize for the inconvenience."

    You dont even need to cancel it, the auto renew option does that for you.

    The games aren't overly worth it, but if you were thinking about getting Prime anyway, it's not bad!
