I'm no tree hugger, but having four cheap ice-creams randomly delivered all over the place, doesn't seem a wise way to use up fossil fuels, now does it?

Surely, popping down the local shops, or at the very least waiting for an ice-cream van to drive by is a better way of going about things?

Only ice pops, only selected cities:

The Promotion offers Uber account holders in London, Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Newcastle, Sheffield, Bristol, Home Counties, Nottingham, Portsmouth, Leicester, Edinburgh and Glasgow (a “Participant”) between 11:00 and 19:00 local time on 12 August 2016, the opportunity to request, subject to availability, an ice pop (“Product”) through the Uber smartphone application using the Uber Partner app. Each of the aforementioned cities is a “Participating City” and the aforementioned timeframe is the “Relevant Timeframe” for the purpose of the Promotion and these terms and conditions.

Edit: well actually, look like pretty luxury ice pops http://wearepops.com/

#6
Link takes you to google play store? What about iOS users?
#7
Open the app and set your location and request ‘ICE CREAM’ on 12th August between 11am and 7pm.
#8
Full terms & conditions below. (Although they haven't changed the date, from when the promotion was originally supposed to run in July)

Same, no option for ice cream on the Uber app in Nottingham.
#15
London , Victoria station & Kings Cross & Charing cross station, High Street ken station... Ice cream available , i think it's only for important locations and big stations , it's just waste of time

Flavours are: (Green): Apple & Elderflower
(Red) Strawberry & Mint

I launched the app at 11:04 and got the no drivers in your area. Clicked again and next thing it said driver will be with you in 4 mins. If they can't find your road or get stuck they will give you a call. It's Popsicles or as we call them over here ice lollies. I got 2 strawberry and 2 apple ones and about 30 napkins. They will ask to take a pic of you holding the bag for their agency.
I'm in NW London if that helps.

Is there is a residential house nearby? They don't deliver the house per se. You just need to be standing outside the vicinity. I picked mine a few houses away from mine cos the gps is fiddly.
#34
I'm still getting 'No Ice Cream Available' :(
#35
We are in Edinburgh and we waited for 6 minutes and watched the little ice cream drive around. we requested one and when he said he'll arrived no one turned up!
#36
"No Ice Cream Available" (Richmond) :0(
#37
Got mine at Glasgow at about 11.20, same as previously reported just try to request for the free ice cream even if it says no ice cream on the app. A few tries later it shows up as on the way. They phoned to ask if I was inside the building, I offered to collect from outside.
#38
Do you put ICE CREAM in the destination box??
#39

No, there should be an ice cream link on the bottom left of the app (next to uberx).
Select that & then move the pin to your location, and it will tell you if ice-cream is available.
Try moving the pin around your city, from the center to further out and you should get the idea of where the offer is available.
