That's a joke right? This was/is one of the one of the best anti adware/malware programs around. Google it.

Hot freebie btw

Oh forgot to add that it should sit nicely alongside MSE. They've got different strengths.

If you already have the free version - you don't need to re-download - just register the number you receive from LavaSoft and your FREE version becomes the PRO.
#12
fantastic, thanks

Cheers!

Can this sit alongside your usual internet security software such as kaspersky or does this actually replace it?
#15

Brilliant post well spotted i have downloaded it thanks

good for free but i've read quite a few reports that the pro version suffers the same problems as Norton.
ie massively slows down your computer, so I think i'll give it a miss.
#20
How does this compare with Microsoft security essentials?
Can I have both of them running at the same time?

Problems seem to relate to people running the anti-virus (AV) part of AdAwarePro alongside an existing AV solution. I'll give it a try with AV turned off. Can't imagine it's that bad or thye'd never sell a copy of the pro version. We shall see...

Can you provide some more info about this email activation? When I installed the software, it asked me for my email address and the subsequent email just contained 20% discounted offers.

Thanks

I can confirm this. It really slowed my PC down, and even stopped internet from working.

Like you I installed the program, it then asked me for my address to finalise the install I ran the first scan, which threw up three problems, which it then cured. Its running absolutely fine now alongside MSE actually feels quicker tbh

Cant be expired, I got this TODAY - it popped up on my desktop, filled in an online form and they emailed me a code.
