Just been in to Tesco and noticed they had 500ml Powerade cherry sports drinks with a 'try me offer' on the front. They are currently selling them as 2 for £1.40, however they will refund £1.23 per bottle sleeve! Therefore the drinks are free PLUS you get a little bit of extra cash in the form of a cheque refund (OK, only 29p to be precise after 2nd class stamps per bottle so it won't make you rich!). Only one per household, but you could always send one to a friend/relatives address for the other bottle sleeve!

Apolgies in advance if I have posted this in the wrong section!

do you not have to send them your receipt for proof of purchase. Sometimes that happens and they only refund what you have paid.

No, you have to send the bottle sleeve off (the plastic stuff round the bottle), no receipts involved, so if you spot one of these in the street just pick it up, take the plastic off hey presto get yourself some cash (in the form of a cheque).
thanks, voted hot
And its not buy one get more back

its buy two for 46p really :P

What!! Would love to see your working out for that!

It's quite simple, you buy 2 for £1.40 - i.e. 70p per bottle.

For each bottle they give you £1.23

Taking into consideration the cost of your 2nd class stamp (24p) and taking off the cost of the bottle in the first place (70p) you have made yourself a nice little earner of 29p!! and have your bottle of Powerade for free.
My hubby just got these @ the co-op and it's BOGOF (Don't know how much he payed though?),so will send for mines,as I have a free stamped address envelope too....

Thanks for the offer! I love taking these to the gym :)
These have now been increased to 2 for £1.50 now in Tesco, but the Co op offer sounds good.

I tried one, but won't be having any more! I don't know what they put in it, but I was zonked for a good hour or two and couldn't function :p Guess they are no good for diabetics really!
