Process Lasso is a unique new technology that will improve your PCs responsiveness and stability. Windows, by design, allows programs to monopolize your CPU without sufficient restraint leading to hangs and micro-lags.

Process Lassos ProBalance (Process Balance) technology intelligently adjusts the priorities of running programs so that badly behaved processes wont negatively impact the responsiveness of your PC. It does this not by raising process priorities, but instead by temporarily lowering the priorities of background processes that may be interfering with foreground responsiveness. In addition, there are countless features allowing the user to take full automated control of the processes on their PC.

has anyone used this? any good?
I have downloaded it this morning. No problem installing. If its any good, I will know only after using it for couple of days. So far looks ok to me. Sits silently in the sys tray and optimizes the running processes. Will uninstall later if it turns out to be a resource hogger.
some people at gaotd seemed pretty keen on this. I virtually never downl;oad their stuff, but this looks like a keeper.
