Use the link, it will direct you to the glass's price guide used for vauxhall site users looking to see how much their car is worth to trade in, only
it is free if you do it this way.

£3.50 if you use the glass.co.uk site direct.

Not sure if this is classed as a deal or not.

but i think anything that usually cost money and is free elsewhere is a deal!

(but mod's feel free to move it).

Someones been browsing Vauxhalls site. Just doing the same thing myself and stumbled across this. Would of posted myself once I got the valuation done.
#4
You've just saved me £350. Good work
#5
On subs fees. Not a car price that is.
#6
Nice one, cheers.
#7
Eventually valued my car, wow ..talk about depreciation!, the site is slow and webpage soon times out, useful website to know about though.
#8
Just tried it and it asked for £3.50!

EDIT: Nope! Just tried with BOTH links and neither work!

The site gives only the part exchange price. This price cannot be used for private sale. This is what the site says:

All valuations given are based on a single transaction with a bona fide motor dealer involving the sale of the consumer's car in part exchange for the purchase of a different car from the same dealer.
Values are not cash values, replacement prices, private sales values or insurance settlements and therefore must not be used for any other valuation purposes whatsoever.

Nice one, super freebie
#12
Thats good .. thanks.
#13
This only does a basic valuation. The Glasses site adds all the optional extras etc.
#14
Valuations look very low compared to other sources for the same information.
#15
It's asking for £3.50.
#16
Nope, not working for me. Is this for Vauxhalls only??? I put my car maker in as Hyundai for the first link and it wants the £3.50. Used the 2nd link also, and when I click the Vauxhall link, it times out. oh well
#17
asked for money from me too....
#18
doesnt do porsche, booooooo!!!!
#19
Worked for me
Cheers
#20
worked but was slow
#21
Thanks for the link. Mine valued at 350.00 £ lol...
#22
Dont see what is so good about this, the Parkers website has always given this level of valuation for free.. alll the sites, Parkers, Glass, only charge for tailored quotations where you can add all of the optional extras your car has...
#23
Deal !! Thanks !!

Recently visited Webuyanycar and they offered me the same price for 2 cars as to what they are valued on Glass's report. So very pleased!!
#24
Not sure about this lol, Working perfectly from the link in the 2nd post... But when I compare the trade in to a Glass's guide here in my hand it's way out...

Strange...

Thanks as I say worth a look!
#32
oh for Average condition: they say £8,250 which is way off.
#33
Worked for me too.
#34
Asked for money :-(
#35
Dont you just LOVE the comments of "Oh I would have have posted this - but I assumed - it had already been done"

"Oh I was going to post this the other day" Oh I was going to post this too.....

YAWN!

Its not difficult to see if a deal has been submitted before!? If you WERE going to post it..... Then POST IT!! LOL!! xxxx

The wonders of hindsight!

I agree, its even lower than the Glass's own guide used by garages etc. For example I was looking at one car, bottom book was £2300, top book about £3100 perhaps. But using this guide I got

Part-exchange Price:
Excellent condition:
£2170
Average condition:
£1955
Below average condition:
£1700

I don't really understand. Why is it so far out? Bottom book (I thought) is supposed to be around the amount a dealer will give you for your car, any day of the week.

Agreed... As I stated a few posts back.... This is way out against the Glasses book...

So for all the people that cannot access the site.... You aint missing anything....
