I seen this last night and my opinion would be that it's more an adult show, not really for kids, as it's a drama, no comedy. It's the story of Glenn Miller so a fair amount of 'big band / swing' music - and the stage & theatre are not that large so I felt the music sound was quite loud.

I didn't ... the girl just took my page and then gave me the ticket.
If they asked for ID, I would just say the person who's name is on it is just at the shop or gone to the bathroom - or that they were a gift from from the daughter.
