Villa are top of the league in the treating the fans with respect and rewarding their support IMO, if a few more clubs followed suit football may improve it's diminshing image.
#5
wow-my little fella would love this.....but we are on the isle of man-so no chance him getting there........great post though ! Voted hot......................

Good of Villa to do this. Reminds me of when Brentford gave free entry to some of there matches a few seasons back.
#7
Strange

Even free football is boring so don't waste your time going anyone.
#9

Not 100% but think Brentford do still give free tickets to some games, not sure if its only the kickz members but I know my lad went to a couple of free games last season with them

Yes that's good if they do. I was a bit skint at the time & as they offered a freebie for the game against my local team (Posh) i decided to go. Shame it was 0-0 but still good to get something for nothing.

good deal if you like villa . hate specky o neill though . voted hot
#19
Sounds good.
#20
Is this to see an actual game or to see the team train? Surely they don't normally charge to see a team train?
#21
Voted hot of course.

Just to point out that this training session is at Villa Park & not at Bodymoor Heath.

It's a great couple of hours & the players are happy to sign autographs.

reading arent really in the same league as villa when it comes to fan base though are they, normally you are not allowed to watch the team train to answer another question years ago you could i went a few times with family to watch but its all become a serious business the training lark!!wish i wasnt at uni so i could go along but going to all the games this season makes up for it (and hamburg in december!!) hot deal!

what the hell has your first sentence got to with it......

for what its worth, the potential is big....as catchment here is quite big (the proper population of Reading is well over 450,000, perhaps nearer 500000...most of Wokingham's population where i live resides in Reading...sure not near the population of Brum where im currently working, but enough) and has grown gradually and will grow more quickly if we can get back to the prem and increase the size of the ground to the agreed 40K (we have alot of fickle fair weather supporters lol!!).....

would love to see what crowds your club would get if they hadnt been in the top flight for 135 years and was so close to London (25mins on train)
