Through Go Mobile, Orange are giving away free Pay-As-You-Go SIM cards including a FREE £5 top-up for each card. Customers can receive 1 SIM card per household
And that's not all...

Each SIM card allows customers to choose an additional reward from one of the famous Orange PAYG price plans: Dolphin, Canary, Racoon and Camel.

Dolphin - UNLIMITED FREE TEXTS + FREE ACCESS TO FACEBOOK, BEBO and MYSPACE (free texts dependant on monthly topup amount)
Canary - FREE CALLS TO ANY NETWORK (up to 240 free evening and weekend minutes dependent on monthly topup amount)
Racoon - 15p CALLS TO ANY NETWORK (regardless of topup amount)
Camel - CALLS FROM ABROAD FOR 5p (calls to more than 50 countries from 5p per minute, 15p texts to overseas mobiles regardless of monthly topup)

No QuidCo with them but free £5 Orange credit is also useful for Orange Wednesdays 2 for 1 also guys.

Err, sorry to correct you mod, but I think you will find that you did not! All you said was that there was no Quidco, not that you can't have them as well as Quidco deal.

Anyways - good deal. I have got my £8, though no Sims yet :? I wonder how I survived before HUKD previously!

You can't spam a deal or expire because one is better, its still an alternative option.

It won't let you order from both websites and seeing as the other deal you get cashback, that ends up being the better one

Just got a warning from andywedge. Was told that I shouldn't go spamming threads because I think my post is better.

The reason I spammed the deal isn't because of that, it's because one is only able to get one sim from one website. Seeing as this thread is the same offer as the other deal, irrelevant of the website, I would consider it a duplicate. Better people seeing my thread and get the Quidco cashback, then go for this deal and realise after that they aren't able to get the other deal.

Both site's and threads are valid, as they're sister sites but separate deals

Dude, let people decide for themselves how they want to get their Sims. These are NOT duplicates as different companies are involved - as Rayman says, they're separate deals.

OOPS! I got this message. I must have used the other site or something.

There is a pound if you go through Topcashback

Free Orange Sim Card with £5 Free Credit £1.00 Cashback
Please note, this is a maximum of 1 per member and 1 per postal address.
#15
I got one of these from affordablemobiles.co.uk.

You have to go to simregister.co.uk to get the £5.

I can't connect to it. I get

Network Timeout
The server at www.simregister.co.uk is taking too long to respond.
The requested site did not respond to a connection request and the browser has stopped waiting for a reply.
* Could the server be experiencing high demand or a temporary outage? Try again later.
* Are you unable to browse other sites? Check the computer's network connection.
* Is your computer or network protected by a firewall or proxy? Incorrect settings can interfere with Web browsing.
* Still having trouble? Consult your network administrator or Internet provider for assistance.

If anyone finds a solution, I'd like to know about it.

None of their packages include unlimited data. With phones like iPhone out, this is a must now, not an option.
#17
great. thanks.

Normal credit I think, as it is on the 453 balance, but I could be wrong

Have you tried deleting cookies and rebooting your router to get a new different IP address?

Update: This doesn't work - they've locked their system right down even after deleting cookies and getting a new IP - looks like different addresses is the only option!
#24
Once I ordered it, it said that the total cost was £1.49.

Do I have to pay this £1.49?!

i got the same also :?
#26
Ordered 1 a week ago, no charge but still waiting. Any others around?
#27
I won't be paying the £1.49 if they want it anyway. Its not like they took bank details or anything.
#28
mine arrived ok. registered the sim but having problems getting it to work inside my laptop (built in slot - acer aspire 1 deal). also, to register for the free £5 - the website is timing out for the last 24 hours.

Customer Service: 0871 811 1421

Opening Hours: Mon – Fri: 9:00am – 8:00pm Sat: 9:00am – 5:00pm Sun: Closed
I think you can register it over the phone
#30
Thanks for the number rayman, however they were unable to help. I've been trying www.simregister.co.uk again, but it's useless and still timing out at 12:45am...also, the other number (on the £5 info sticker) is also useless as it always says "all of our operators are busy" and hangs up.

Obviously Orange are expecting us to go ahead and top up with cash, and *not* honouring the "free" credit.

Suggestions for a SIM which will work on day 1 please? (not Orange)
#31
The website seems to work again now to add your credit
#32
Not for me. I've spent over £1 phoning the 0845 number only to be hung up on. And tried the website at all 24 hours of the day!! I see you posted around 2pm, I'll try again tomorrow and then contribute my "expired" opinion.
#33
*boo* to Orange :-(

update: I did get through in the end, which is usually the way after giving up! Tip for anyone else, I was asked if I had a £5 or £10 voucher and I said £5...if you say £10 they will probably take it? But I wouldn't know because I didn't think quickly enough. Also, the phone rang around 20 times when an operator *was* available.

now if only I could get my XP Acer Aspire 110 to say anything except "Radio Off"? I feel like a pirate with a steering wheel hanging out of my flies...it's drivin me nuts!
#34
Just ordered 2, as although the site states '1 per household', it has a drop down with 2 entries in it - '1 free sim' and '2 free sim'. The basket listed 2 free sim cards. I don't know if this just means I can only get the £5 free top up on one of them though.
#35
i have just received my sim

but logging onto simregister there does not seem to be anything to click on to claim the £5 credit at least not following the instructions i got with my letter

cant say at the moment i am very impressed
#36
The simregister.co.uk site isn't working for me at the moment.
Probably server overload??
#37
logging onto simregister.co.uk just seems to bring me to this site and nowhere to click on sim only and follow the instructions on my letter i received from go mobile with my sim

is this just a con is there no free £5 top up
#38
colin2001, phone the 0845 number, when you eventually get through it will ring about 20 times. also see my post above re £10 / £5 voucher.
#39
Total con:x
#40
simregister site is FINALLY working. Not a con after all!
