  It's not as daft as it first seems - GMG do allow a lot of their games to be traded back in, and the trade in prices change over time - often going up several months after being on special offer. The Sun had an offer last year for 3 free games on the site, and they could be traded in so were worth at the very least their trade in value against other games.
  
  In this case it won't be as GMG have it listed as "cannot be traded in" - something usually reserved for games that do not download through the GMG Capsule client.
  
  Either way the game is back up to normal price, so deal is expired.
