  i was just wonderig that... I dont own or like the Iphones but i only came into see the coments and work out why its cold for a FREE bumber? some people take being tight to next level mayb its cold because they are thinking of the time or fuel cost to get to Apple store?

  I agree mate, if this went HOT then it'd be great for all those people who DID get the new iphone so they could be aware of getting something for FREE.

  Giving away a free bumper doesnt make it ok. All the iphone owners signed up to a phone that was meant to be super slim and nice looking, but now they have to put a big rubber band around their phones to make it function as well as a sub £100 phone? i would be ****** if i owned one.

  I brought one of these bumpers when I got the phone and they are great. If dropped, the bumper takes the impact and I haven't noticed any drop in signal quality when picking up the phone.

  It's a solution to a design flaw. Apple should give them FOC to all purchasers of the iPhone 4 and not just to those who complain, especially when Apple stores, for many are quite a distance away.

  I think poeple are voting cold for this based on the fact that it is correcting a design flaw... ie, it shouldn't need them in the first place, so giving them away free simply to make it work as it should ( albeit looking a little sillier) is the least that should happen, hence why should it be a 'hot deal'?

  Yes, oh dear, because video over 3G was so popular, at about 50p per minute.

  Also it appears that it may just be a software problem, as 3GSs are affected too.

  Not voting either way though I think bilbob is spot on, it's hardly a deal when it's 'fixing' a flaw with the phone.... I'm just amazed at the amount of people spending £500+ on a phone who haven't bought some kind of case to protect it in the first place! All those sensible folk who did should be going straight to Apple and asking for a refund on it now though ;-)

  It is just what all those poor sods who bought the 4G need. Yes its a deal and deserves to be hot but as pointed out it should be free for all as at the moment it is very expensive item not at its best due to its design flaw. I am so glad I dropped out of the 'innovator camp', best to let faults and upgrades be found first I think.
  
  I hear Toyota are teaching drivers on how to drive their cars rather than fix their braking / acceleration problems.

  It's a good deal from me. Massive oversight from Apple, I bet there are some design engineers looking for new jobs this week! It won't stop me buying one though. Most people use a case for it any way so maybe Apple considered this.
