Kids can take part in community sports events for free through ASDA supermarkets' Sporting Chance promotion. This scheme was on during February half term and has started again for Easter; you'll be able to search for activities on the website from one week before the Easter holidays.
To take part in the free events, you'll need to print a voucher out from ASDAs website when the promotion begins again. Then type your postcode into their online search engine to find a list of local activities. Select the ones you want and youll be given details of participating venues, as well as a booking number for your chosen session.
Then just call the session provider to book a place; kids will need to remember to bring their voucher along to the session. Activities include football, martial arts, dance, golf, bowling, swimming, laser quest and gymnastics, depending on whats available in your area.
Youll need one voucher for each session, and sessions are subject to availability. Individual venues may have their own restrictions, as well as age restrictions, so check when you book, and its also worth checking the terms and conditions on the website.
