Thought I'd share this really interesting take on learning a new language in the summer.

The lessons are really simple and you can pretty much carry on where you left off anywhere you are.

Also, you can ask questions for ANY problems you have in the forum and get answers almost instantly.
No setup needed, none of those complicated options that you see people using just a simple task on the left and your work on the right.

Granted, it won't be for everybody but thought I'd share it with you guys :D

Funny (for a Boro fan).
Thanks, good lessons for starting web based applications.

Java is giving me trouble.
great thanks for this
i was amazed when it told me how many letters i had in my name
This seems really useful - thanks
JavaScript will be the most important language for the next 10 years, so definitely worth learning.

Codecademy & code school and also both great. Worth checking out.
This is brilliant!! Thanks OP <3
Great find.

Don't let any old guys tell you Javascript isn't a real language. It's the most widespread "proper" programming language you'll find. Seek out Douglas Crockford's learning material to get up to speed fast.
nice one, cheers!
Interesting. I did a computing degree then never worked in that field and have forgotten it all. I expect what I learnt is all obsolete anyway. Perhaps now is time to get back to it, now I'm sitting stuck at home as a housewife (with special needs kids).

Absolutely brialliant. I've done basic programming with Basic and C before, so the first exercises are quite basic, but I like the path so far. Heat for sure....
Very good resource well found!
looks good, signed up, cheers :)
