A free browser isn't really news.

Having said that I use Opera on my N96 and it is much better than the built in offering.

I've just downloaded it onto my Sony Ericsson K800i and its the best browser I've tried.

Heat added, many thanks!

centaurandrew is correct. Opera mini has been around for ages and became popular with java enabled phones with limited WAP/data access. I've been using it for at least 4 years now, and have been using the new Opera Mini 5 recently redesigned for touch enabled phones. There are some limitations but for general browsing its a brilliant browser and a good alternative for internet data conscience mobile users.
