just tried this app and it's a bit pants - it's not proper mms and you have to buy separate credit from them. I've given swirly another bash via cydia and it's now great...works out the box, no fiddling with settings and uses proper MMS - i'm away to splash out $8 on the full version :-D
#22
I use SwirlyMMS :) Worth the £5 and just works! Uses my current plan so no extra charges!

This app is pretty pants lol

Cant find that on app store.
#24
Its not on the App Store only on Cydia (Jailbroken iPhone)

Apple wont allow this application on the AppStore because it runs in the background of your phone

Think you need to get somebody to send you a MMS and then wait a fair while until you get a normal text with the webpage link and the PIN...this can take aaaaggges to come though as basically the network keeps trying to send it as an MMS and then gives up eventually and send it as SMS.....just get swirly though :-D
#29
i was just on about not being able to get my pics so glad i had a look onn here today will go upload it now cheers heat and rep added
#30
nice app.. i will download soon..

Voted cold as this kind of functionality should have been built in like on every other mobile for the past few years. At the very least it should have been written by Apple and not 3rd party developer. Shame on you Apple expecting other people to finish your job for you.
Still can't believe how many features that most people take for granted are missing on this phone and yet people still buy it!
Ah well....A fool and his money
#32
lovely find - picking up my new iphone in a couple of hours and this will be my first download!

Totally agree, how is this a hot deal? It's functionality that should be on any phone and IS apart from the iPhone. Fanbois are sooo easily parted with their money. COLD
#36
with swirly MMS how much does it cost to send a pic message?
#37
Its not bad for receiving mms messages, sending yes costs you but its free to receive. You've paid £5 to send picture messages on an iPhone? Why on earth would you do that when you can send it an email for free?
#38
I think it is farily hot actually. Iphone suers can't do this easily (can't send at all) at the moment and this makes the receiving of MMS much easier and doesn't cost a penny.

I have downloaded it for receiving only, rarely ever sent an MMS on any other phone I own and can send as email for the iphone anyway.

Hot from me - thanks for the heads up!

Err.. its a FREE application.... :?

Here comes the flamers... "Oh look, theres a deal about iPhones, I can't afford one and I'm so jealous I'll click on the link, read it, read the comments, then post a stupid remark on it telling them how much it sucks".

Personally I dunno anyone (over the age of 16) who frequently uses picture messages, if I want to send a picture I'll email it which costs me nothing and the person at the other end can view it on their computer and actually see it properly.

Downloaded it the other night, but dont see me paying 35p to send a pic msg to be honest

will have it on iphone though just for a emergency lol
