Saw this on Cycling Weekly and thought could interest some. Scheme include Oakley, The North Face, Adidas, Reebok and Skins,

there are a few of these apps about that all have the same principle, but don't have any 'decent' retailers on board.

if you could get money off, or even free, cinema tickets for walking or exercising, i'd be out all the bloody time :)

Tend to agree. I haven't downloaded the app but posted the deal.

Reminds me I keep meaning to look into the Bitwalking app which seems interesting. I have a online business where we already accept bitcoins and keep meaning to see if there is legs (pun intended) in that.

I've heard of bitwalking - I registered for updates before it was launched because they did appear to have better choices for what to redeem the 'currency' on, but they've only launched on android so far.

i suppose the issue for anyone looking to partner with these exercise apps is that you're essentially giving your stuff away for 'free'. Maybe if they could find a decent way of monetizing the app then at least they could pay retailers a fee for better quality rewards.
