SPECIAL PREVIEW
A chance to see Guy Richie's new film, RocknRolla, at special previews in the cinema before it opens nationwide on 5th September 2008
ROCKNROLLA
(15)
Starring: Gerard Butler, Gemma Arterton, Jeremy Piven, Thandie Newton, Tom Wilkinson, Jamie Campbell Bowemr, Idris Elba, Mark Strong.
Writer/director Guy Ritchie revisits the seedy, offbeat landscape of modern day London that he explored in his critically acclaimed films Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch, in RocknRolla.
When a Russian mobster orchestrates a crooked land deal, millions of dollars are up for grabs, and all of Londons criminal underworld wants in on the action. Everyone from a dangerous crime lord to a sexy accountant, a corrupt politician and down-on-their-luck petty thieves conspire, collude and collide with one another in an effort to get rich quick.
Welcome to the world of the ROCKNROLLA.
Gerard Butler stars as a character called One Two, a street-smart mobster who has learned to play both sides of the fence. Tom Wilkinson stars as the lethal head mobster, Lenny Cole, part of Londons old mob regime, which is quickly losing ground to the wealthier foreign mob. Thandie Newton stars as One Twos love interest, Stella, a smart and sexy accountant with ties to the underworld. Idris Elba stars as Mumbles, who is One Twos partner. Chris Ludacris Bridges stars as Roman, an American trying to break into the music scene in London.

As a member of See Films First I think this is pretty low of Wilbur7.... These invites are sent out to members of the website, they aren't for Hotukdeals... This is probably why when I get a mail for a film there's never any tickets left

Nice one Wilbur7....

but surely that's the point of HUKD, the emails are sent at different times so by the time you get yours they are already low on tickets. I have replied to my members email immediately and still don't get a ticket so at least when they are posted here you can get a head up that your venue is available.

I have been a member of SeeFilmFirst for ages, and have only ever received ONE email with a code. I manage to get more tickets by watching the posts on this site. I appreciate people posting the info.

low of him to share codes? What a load of rubbish. For 2 years I've hardly got any codes from seefilmfirst (they normally send them to me the day before the film or same day!) If it wasn't for people posting them here and the other websites then I wouldn't have gone to the 30 or so previews I have been to. Seefilmfirst is all about creating hype for a film, most codes are in magazines, newspapers and media websites and are available to anyone. A big thank you to anyone who posts a code.

well done wilbur7, Dylan1357 your talking rubbish. These codes are available around a week before the showing, seefilmfirst email the code the day before, therefore waiting for the email and not looking on HUKD on other deal sites is your own fault and you deserve to miss out. Early bird catches the worm.

Saw the film tuesday at Castleford, great film. Well worth it.

Also for anyone who has never been to one of these free viewings there's no annoying adverts and promo's before the film. Go in, sit down, film starts. As opposed to go in, sit down, see an advert about orange wednesdays, smirnoff, BMW Mini Cooper, then followed by 3-4 movie trailers and then finally 20 mins later the film.

I have NEVER had an E-mail from seefilmfirst, the only codes I have had are from HUKD'ers who have kindly posted them, been to see beowulf, The Bank Job and am off to see Rock n Roller in 45 mins, so thanks to the people that share codes and "Meh..." to the people who complain about it, get over yourself!lol

Maybe you should tell someone that cares as it appears nobody else here does. Email See Film First with your concerns and see what they say. Just because you never got tickets doesn't mean you need to spit your dummy out. There have been times I never got tickets I wanted but that's life. Very sorry you never got your FREE tickets but as codes appear on this site almost every day it seem pointless to cry about people doing it as people are doing nothing wrong.

Meh, I thought it was pretty good, more of a set-up for the next one than an actual fully fledged gangster romp, seems like Guy Ritchie is gonna milk it for all he can, I can see the net one being a classic and the third a steaming pile iof something else, just didnt have the pacing or the cleverness of say Snatch or Lock Stock, think he is thining it out a little, suppose you could nt have certain characters doing what they do and then changing in the length of a normal film, oh well, roller on rock'nroller 2 :p
Me and the missus did really enjoy it though.
