argh. why is glasgow ALWAYS full?

I've went to two free screenings before. and The amount of free seats leftover was disgusting. People just get the tickets and don't bother bloody going.

Or even worse. They go for the hell of it. That REALLY grinds my gears.
#11
useless for London areas, all gone (as always)
#12
Manchester printworks is ALWAYS full!

Thanks anyway :)
#13
Thanks got two for Newcastle Under Lyme, always at stoke.. Newcastle is better then stoke :)
#14
Thanks for the info, I managed to get 2 tickets in Reading!!!

Brill, scored some tickets for Aberdeen!

I was wondering about the tickets, since they don't seem to have a unique code or anything, do you just show it at the ticket desk and they check it against a register or something?
#16
Hello SPARTAN086 Mike.
There has never been any 'register' to check names against to any of the screenings I've been to. You literally just go to the screening entrance, hand over your printout from SeeFilmFirst, the staff take it, then let you know what screen it's in and send you on your merry way.
I've never even been asked for ID, which it suggests bringing with you just in case.
I hope that clears things up.

Thanks for clearing that up, was just a bit confused as there wasn't a unique ID code or anything like that on my ticket, which made it seem like someone could just "fake" one and get in (I'm used to orange wednesday tickets and handing over a code etc), but if this is the way it works! :-D .

argh! i enter "sonypics" as the password and it keeps coming up "Wrong password" HELP ??
#19
Thanks for the info - Got some tickets . . . :)

Well, yes, it would be possible. A number of people have commented on the seating for these screenings, sometimes it isn't full, other times it's packed solid. I guess you take a chance if you are going to do that, and the thought of possibly depriving someone else who did go through the process of actually getting a ticket.

My thoughts exactly, this will be my first trip to the Lighthouse in about 3 years though, I always thought it was a bit scummy compared to the cineworl, and hell to find parking :(.

Christ, what an awful film that was!
