Become a Mystery Shopper with Retail Eyes. All you do is register and choose the areas near you that you would be prepared to travel to... then you just wait until a mystery shopper is needed in that area. When you log in you can see all assignments available to you. They dont ring you, they dont mither you - If you want to do it you just accept it online and if you dont then you just leave it.

For example i logged in and saw one available at my local Bank Fashion store. I knew i was popping into town anyway so i accepted the assignment. I read the assignment notes so i knew what i had to do. I got £5 for going and £15 reimbursment - So i bought something for £20. Which is basically free!

I love doing these kind of things - All you have to do when you have completed the job is log back in and answer a few questions about the store and the assistants. Then you upload a picture of your receipt and within a few days your payment will be processed.

I have done 2 now and have just accepted my third. Its a great way to get things for free!

iv been doing this with retail eyes for over 3 years, they have some fab jobs,,
think it will probably be moved to misc though :)

I've also been doing this for about 7 years. Retail Eyes exploits the shoppers though.
They pay very little and the fees have gradually decreased . Sometimes the fee and re-imbursement does not cover the cost of doing the job - especially as they do not pay any travelling expenses as other mystery shopper employers do.
The reports take at least an hour to complete - sometimes there are more that 100 questions plus photos and receipts to scan and the website is slow and not user friendly. All for a fee of less than £5! plus they insist you are available for 10 days after the assignment to answer queries - they phone you and then hang up when you answer so that you have the cost of ringing them.
If you join - do not expect it to be a picnic - you really do have to earn the money which is paid about 6 weeks in arrears to you.

Just signing up for this, looks good.
It comes up with this-
Please note: If you have been recommended to become a Retail Eyes shopper by a friend; please ensure you supply your friend's exact username, else they will not be eligible for their referral fee.
Wots your username i'll put you in as my referral.

Sounds like hard work and as you say could end up costing you.

I have done 2 now and just accepted my third.

One at Lloyds Phamacy - £5 for going and £5 reimbursment. Its near where i work so i popped in did what i had to do asked the right questions. With this one i had to take a pic of the outside and then upload that and a pic of my receipt - Then answer a few questions - took me about twenty mins to answer the questions so that was £10.

Then i just did Bank - Had to try something on and then purchase something. I've been lookin at a scarf and glove set in there for a while its £20 so i was a bit put off at the price but for doing the mystery shop i got paid £5 for doing it and £15 for spending so i got the scarf set for free basically! Again uploaded a pic of the receipt and answered a few questions and thats £20.

I'm the type of person who likes filling in questionairres so I enjoy this whole process. I only pick jobs that are near me so it's only a matter of popping in - I don't see it as getting paid I see it as getting things for free from shops that I shop in normally. I have never been contacted by them, if you answer the questions fully and do everything properly then they don't contact you. I'm enjoying the jobs I do and I think it's a fab way of getting a bit of cash or as I see it free items. I have another one this week for Republic and it's £10 so I'll get a nice top for that amount.

WORD OF WARNING ! One mistake, and they do NOT pay out. The email support is rubbish, and the amount of work for the money is poor. They have often not payed me for reports because of one little mistake. I found them to be very poor indeed.
#8
Same here ! Very poor site, poor money, and they do enjoy not paying out !
#9
How can you make a mistake, before you do the job you read the notes, you do what your supposed to, you make sure you answer properly, make sure your spelling is right, make sure your receipt picture is readable, I don't see how you can make a mistake? There are contact numbers to ring if you need any help but I don't see how you can make mistakes?
#10
Thought I`d give this a try thanks. :whistling:

If you don't want to do a job then you don't click on it, if there is one local to you then why not? If you do everything properly and answer properly and actually care about it then you get paid and they get a good report to go back to the shop with. Simple

Do you have to comment on every opinion ???

This is just my opinion and experiences with this site. Sometimes they make mistakes as well !

Just let people have their own opinion without you having to have the last word.
#13
They do call you if they are struggling to fill a job in your selected locations.

Poor pay rates and wordy reports, but otherwise reliable payers.

Do you earn any money from these referrals ?

I have no idea. When you submit a report you get points - More points allow you to get more of a choice of mystery shopper jobs - Im not sure if referrals give you more points.

Before you start no i didnt put this on to get referrals - I know that self promotion and anything that benefits yourself is not allowed to be posted
#21
I agree, it is not worth the money and the hassle. You can spend hours doing the assignments / reports and get very, very little money for doing the work. I did it for months and then gave up.

Ok everyone who signs up from now on dont give any name or email for referral, just sign up and see if you like. I just put this on as i think its a brilliant way to pick and choose jobs you want to do and earn a bit of cash.

How can this be a lot of time for a poor amount of cash - a 5 minute pop in the shop buy something come out - 20 min write a report and upload a receipt and thats £20... ?

Im sick of all the negative people on this site. If you dont like vote cold but why put negative comments to put people off - Why cant they just try it and see for themselves?
#26
Well I signed up but unless I'm doing something wrong there are no assignments in the London area at all lol!

You need to go to your areas and put in all the local towns that you would visit. And select retail, food etc. .. Then just keep checking...

I agree. I've been doing this one for a while now and have had a few good ones but the questionnaires are very long. I don't mind normally but sometimes they ask you to comment on your answers which don't need extra comments.

If you have time for the questionnaires and are very accurate in filling out the reports then this company is good, i've not done to bad out of it tbh

I signed up for Grass Roots but have only been offered 1 job which went within minutes of me getting the email!

But that's the point ! A mixture of pos and neg remarks is what is required. YOU are trying to make all the comments positive, and that is not true. This site does have negative points. Stop trying to be MRS PERFECT !!!

Good for you ! But perhaps other people have, so just give your opinion ONCE and let others have their say. Perhaps one day you will get caught out and have a bad experience with them. END
