They'll let anybody in these days, English Heritage cards or not! It's a shame that they don't join forces with The National Trust to become National Heritage or something(!)

Ref Bermuda National Trust:

Does anyone know what the difference is between "Family or Overseas BNT @ $50" and "Family UK @ $37.50" - apart from the price of course ?!

Will this also cover free parking at UK sites?

As a single person with grown up children the "Individual UK @ $22.50" sounds like a bargain if it allows access to all UK NT sites!

I think one is for UK sites and one is for other National Trust sites around the world including the UK.

Sites:

Africa: National Trust of Zimbabwe

Asia: Japan National Trust

Caribbean: Barbados National Trust; BVI National Parks Trust; National Trust for the Cayman Islands; The Conservation Trust of Puerto Rico
Europe: National Trust for England, Wales and Northern Ireland; National Trust for Jersey; National Trust for Scotland; The Manx Museum and National Trust - Isle of Man; the Gelderland Trust for Historic Houses and the Gelderland Trust for National Beauty - Netherlands

Pacific: All Australian State and Territory National Trusts - Australia and Tasmania; National Trust for Fiji; New Zealand Historic Places Trust; Queen Elizabeth II National Trust - New Zealand

Plus if you buy a membership from Bermuda the National Trust here won't be getting any money from it which they need to maintain and run the sites in the UK.
stphnstevey#14
Do you have to print out anything or just turn up at these sites for free entry?
Queen'O'Deals#16
The Bermuda National Trust could be a good buy for hard -up families like us! Can anyone tell me if it provides the same as UK National Trust?
hillsbills#17
My Bermuda national trust membership card took about 3 weeks to arrive. Other friends have applied too & no problems or in using it over here. You want the family UK membership at $37.50 or the individual UK at $22.50. They cover all sites around the world inc UK. No free parking though, but for that price we can't really complain & only some UK sites charge for parking, others are free. They do not offer membership for couples so go for the family instead. Cheap as chips & deffo best deal you can get - I checked all their sites around the world!
