I came across Nectar Canvass about 3 weeks ago and since filling in my profile properly I have earnt about 2500 nectar points (£12.50 normal money £25 on double up) nectar points in 2 weeks and I'm not glued to my laptop all day either. Basically they reward you in nectar points for doing surveys on a wide variety of topics but they are tailored to what you fill in on your profile so I'd take the time to fill it in properly or cat lovers will get surveys about what food Fido likes to eat! If you don't qualify for the survey after the first few questions you get 2 nectar points for your effort but if you do the full surveys you can get anywhere between 20 and 150 points which are time dependent so the longer they say it takes the more points you get. I find they over estimate the time taken and once you get in the routine of clicking you'll get quicker too. I've done them on kinder suprise toys, sky sports, TSB bank, Halifax and some car ones too. The points are pretty fast going on your account - mine are averaging 3 days and I'm saving mine up for the double up on a nice magnum of taste the difference prosecco for Christmas. I realise this will not be everyone's cup of tea but if you're a nectar point queen like me it's something to do while you are waiting for the next batch of flamedeers to be released....

How does Nectar Canvass work?
Nectar Canvass will send you regular emails inviting you to take part in these surveys, or you can visit the Nectar Canvass website and take a survey whenever you like. The length of each survey will differ, but will be stated on the introduction page, as well as the number of Nectar points you will receive for completing it to the end.

Participation is voluntary, you can take part in as many or as few surveys as you wish.

The start of the survey will typically ask you for information about yourself, for example your age, gender, and what region you live in. Nectar Canvass doesn't share your personal information with anyone, which is why you need to complete these questions on many of the surveys you take part in.

Sometimes surveys will then have questions to identify that the company is speaking to the right person. They might only be interested in people that buy a certain product, or have never used a particular service, or they may only need to speak to a certain number of people that have used a product, for example. If you are not part of the target group they are looking for, or if the target group you are part of is full, the survey will end here. We say you have been 'screened out' or the 'quota was full'.. This is a normal part of the market research process, the more we get to know you, the better we'll be able to send you surveys that you do qualify for. However if the quota is full or you get screened out, we will still give you 2 Nectar points for getting that far.

Once you have qualified for a survey, and completed it, you will be eligible for the Nectar points that were advertised on the introduction page to the survey. These will be credited to your Nectar account within 28 days.

You've done well then. I've been a member for about 3 months and only got about 300 pts. Mainly because every time I get a notification and start the survey it's closed or I'm not fit for it! I've stopped bothering now tbh. Maybe it's my age I don't know.

I leave the tab open on my laptop and press "take a survey" whenever I'm online - I don't wait for the invite, maybe try that?

I always get kicked out half way through for not meeting their criteria. My profile has been 100% completed too

thanks

First survey they wanted me to do was 50 points for a 25 minute survey. First they took me to a site at "surveymyopinion.researchnow.com" and when I clinked to do the survey I was redirected again then to a site @ survey.us.confirmit.com. That's a really poor pay out and it appears that Nectar are just acting as an agent with all the usual we have no responsibility for anything T&Cs. Is this typical?
I also got kicked off that survey, but at least it was after just a few questions and for my effort I apparently will be paid 2 points normally worth 1p within 28 days.

Too much time for too few points. Not voted either way.

The last time I tried this I very often got kicked out of surveys halfway through, some even taking over ten minutes of my time to complete! No reward given if you don't match their criteria despite having already spent a lot of time on one survey.

thanks, will give it a go.

this has literally just happened to me. spent ages doing the questions and kicked out just like that. quickest way to me de-registering from the site if that keeps up.

Contact them on the Help tab and let them know, they are usually quite good and will recompense you for your time if you get kicked off mid way HERE

I registered last night and it offered me some surveys this morning. The points offered are pathetic though. 30p worth of nectar points for a 15 minute survey or 20p worth for 10 minutes. £1.20 an hour.
Other survey sites offer a much better hourly rate.

They do over estimate the time taken though, majority are click responses and the 20 minute ones seem to take me on average 8-9 minutes but like I said this won't be everyones cup of tea just a nectar boost for those that want it ;)

been using this for last year or so, it does get annoying at times but it ia an excellent way to get free nectar points to redeem at sainsburys argos & ebay etc

1.25£for 55 minutes survey... Good for topping up your points if your a few short but think this bit too much work for such little rewarf

Any decent survey sites around?

i use nectars old survey site which is basically the same thing-i get emailed surveys regularly and recieve points for doing them. i've doung it for a couple of years now and assuming this site works the same way, i can honestly say it's fine as a nice points boost if you're not doing anything else. but you don't get enough reward to make it worth being a hard core survey filler

The points to time spent ratio is abysmal indeed - spent so much time today on a travel/leisure survey to get 40 points.

I normally loathe doing surveys but will give this a try.

I've just done what I'd call a survey and.. didn't even get points for that. :-/

The survey that popped up is estimated to last 20mins and an overall worth of 80 points or 2 points if it's unsuitable. Was hoping for.. better.

looking at the questions and seeing how invasive they are, all their doing is selling your email to the companies whom the system says you may buy from...
