DESCRIPTION

Nero MediaHome – The heart of your multimedia world!

Bring an end to time-consuming searches for your vacation photos, favorite movies, or music hits. With Nero MediaHome you can control your digital life. Whether music, photo, or video, whether on your PC or mobile device: Nero MediaHome is the universal media center for archiving, organizing, creating, and playing back your files.

ARCHIVE

Give your multimedia files a home: Send photos and movies to your PC wirelessly from your iOS or Android mobile device and by USB from external hard drives or memory sticks. Import music files or rip music from audio CDs and – thanks to Gracenote ® technology – even include original album art. With items archived in clearly arranged categories such as date, faces, places, favorites or personal tags, you can now find all your media even more quickly. You can even connect directly to Windows Media ® Player and iTunes ® media libraries.

CREATE

Got all your media in one place? Then it’s a good time to quickly make things even better than they were before. Refine photos with automated tools and a variety of effects, create slide shows from photos and videos, and enhance them with music, movie design templates, and opening and closing credits. Create music playlists or entire albums including photos or videos.

STREAM

Use the streaming functions of Nero MediaHome and simply play your photos, slide shows, videos, and music to your Smart TV. Use the Nero Streaming Player App for your iOS and Android device as a remote control for your Nero media library and play everything wirelessly on your living room TV.

And the best thing: You can access your entire media archive, sorted by you. Finally, it’s easy to find whatever you’re looking for!

PLAY

Play, music, photos, slide shows, and movie files. The improved and free Nero MediaHome WiFi Sync App ensures that you can exchange and play files wirelessly between iOS and Android devices and your media center. This means you can always access your favorite files, both at home and on the go.

"You must submit a valid email to get this freebie. You agree to allow us to keep you informed of new giveaways and discounts"

Bit sceptical as they ask for survey-esque information. Not sure I'm willing to let my inbox get flooded and my email address sold everywhere for the sake of a $20 bit of software. Each to their own but caveat emptor and all that.

The bloatware king. Wonder if any of it is any good.

Forget it! Probably malware! Asks your e-mail,gender & job level which is odd!

Ermmm... it is not too difficult to use a disposable email and fake details for all of you paranoid folk.

The SharewareOnSale website is highly respected and I have used it for some considerable time with not a single problem. As indicated earlier, if you are totally paranoid then use disposable/fake details.

As for the spoonfed poultry, surely you check and research any software you download anyway. I can't imagine for one nanosecond that anyone would blindly install any software.

SharewareOnSale is a great resource for some great software. I do receive emails from them but they are far from OTT and, on the contrary, are usually tremendously useful.

I use SharewareOnSale at times too, hehe, and haven't had too many issues with them either?. :-)

Ps.
MrBeansDrivingInstructor, how's the Old Skool Bean keeping these day's?, lol. :-)

I know this isn't the full blown Nero (I have 2012 and 2016) and I dunno why I updated to 2016. It does nothing the freebies doesn't do, won't record or copy ANYTHING "protected" while several freebies do, is bloated beyond belief with ridiculous amount of protection for itself and copyrights - and Ive had more coasters with Nero than any other writing prog - frankly rarely use anything Nero these days
Right now Ive got that off my chest, there used to be a Nero "lite" too, like Ashampoo do.If you want Nero free may be worth checking out http://www.afterdawn.com/software/cd_dvd/burning/nero_free.cfm

W10 did not generally include (or provide support for) Windows Media Centre and/or blu-ray support and that may be your problem.

You could try downloading VLC (a free open source player) to see if it fixes your problem...

Also, check drivers and codecs.

Thank You so much... Genuinely appreciate your help. I tried and all drivers are updated. Downloaded VLC but unfortunately seems like unable to play blu-ray discs.

Just out of interest check that it is the latest version of VLC and then take a look at this...

I recently came across http://www.leawo.com blu-ray player. Was very dubious about it but it seems to play all the discs I throw at it. Only downside I've found is that it displays 3D films in 2D as they don't have that function yet, but it's free, and can play the latest star-wars movie, which my Totalmedia 6 can't.
