Not sure if this is sarcasm..

If not then you better not touch the stuff and see how long you'll survive (and also how smelly you'll be).
In case you don't get it Dihydrogen monoxide

Yeah this has already been posted. Used this a couple of times and on both occasions no one knew what to do with it. At the kiosk it must have taken about 5-7 minutes to put it through and even at self-service they didn't know what to do as it wasn't a printed coupon.

Just drink water then!!

I had a bottle of Fever Tree Madagascan Cola during the week; it is rather expensive, but crikey it tastes good!

(I quite like water too.)

seems to be a deal with these coke zero 500ml being free every other month. Great freebie if you like them, but personally I can't stand the stuff and suspect they sell so little they have to keep having these giveaways to get shot of the stuff.

Zero sugar but zero taste to match, i'll take the sugary unhealthy one any day, and note how they never give away the original coke....

I tried this when it first came out and - like all diet variants - it still had a seriously nasty aftertaste. Sorry, but this isn't even worth it at zero cost.

Asda never accept these because they can be cloned

I'm sure they "try" to give this stuff away free to manipulate the figures so they don't look like they are selling so much bad sugar drinks. Problem is nobody likes the stuff, always discounted as doesn't sell during the shelf life. I love a freebie but wouldn't drink this even if they paid me!

i always find comments like this fascinating. I realise tastes vary quite widely between person to person and this is by no means my favourite cola based drink but I do occasionally buy it and find the unique flavour a refreshing change. to that end I suppose I don't get how others can be so completely opposed to it that they wouldn't drink it even with an additional incentive.

Bwahaha this thread makes me laugh. Everything can be bad for you in a way. Some don't like it, and of course those people are always right *nod nod* I'm not really a fan of Zero but I'm a fan of free. Unfortunately I didn't see it was Asda... not one close to me. Ah well, nice to try and very amusing seeing this thread

God knows where you get your facts from come zero has now been in the UK for 10 years and has been very successful.

So successful they keep giving it away, if you're motivated enough to take a healthy option over normal coke, surely you take a healthy option rather than chemical cocktail that is Zero! They keep changing the recipe of that successful drink - all while the government threatens to get tougher on the soft drinks market.

If I'd said it contains 99% dihydrogen monoxide it would have made it obvious what I was talking about.

That's a fairly moot point isn't it. You might as well have said "forests are dangerous they have bears in them" or "power stations are dangerous they have nuclear reactors in them". You can't really avoid using roads. You can very easily avoid all the others. I personally wouldn't trust Aspartame as far as I could artificially throw it. I see that some are now saying the evidence that it's safe has been cherry picked. I'm keeping my eye on all this as it begins to unravel, although doubtless a multi-billion Nutrasweet industry has enough 'scientists' that are always going to bury or blur the truth. As with anything - you pays your money you make your choice. My choice is not to take the risk thanks.

anyone has tried scanning the coupon from self service till?

Doesn't scan at the till; last time I tried I asked the woman from the kiosk for help, she came over rather reluctantly (from all of 10 feet away) tried to scan from my phone with no success again. Had to ask her to try inputting the code manually (again with much reluctance) which didn't work and then she simply walked away without saying a word.

Awful customer service ASDA - I know you're paid minimum wage but geez!

Edit - for those who had success with this can you guys detail how the coupon was successfully processed? Anyone tried printing it out and scanning it?

Cheers

I averaged 6 bottles a day last week, every day without an issue. This is what you do.

Go here and open this in a seperate window.

https://www.guerrillamail.com/

Fill out the offer page as normal, but use one of the disposable email addresses. Once you get the email, write down the code, or type it in to a text file so you can email it to yourself so you can easily open it up on your phone by the checkout. Repeat as many times as you like for as many bottles as you want, obviously with a freshly disposable email address each time. Remember they're currently doing 2 bottles for £2 at the moment and the vouchers automatically take off £1.25 each bottle so for every two bottles you get, you also get 50p knocked off your bill.

When you're on the self service till, use the button "Type in Voucher Code" BEFORE you choose "Finish". Tap out the code, or codes, and when you're ready then hit "Finish". Chose a payment method and before you do anything hit "Cancel" and then you'll be presented with a screen that lists all of the voucher codes.

Hit "Yes" to authorise all of them and then continue to payment and job done :)
