Voted hot for anyone currently doing driving lessons.

Repped you amfan. Thanks

The person registering for the free lesson must hold a valid provisional and should not currently be under instruction with the AA or any other Approved Driving Instructor (unless planning to terminate with their existing instructor).
#4
This is just a "get bums on seats" excercise because of the recession. There are plenty of professional independent instructors offering much better deals, and cheaper per lesson. Tip; always use a recommended instructor, always test drive your instructor before parting with money up front.
#5
Of course Phlaker, but its still FREE.
#6
There is nothing for free. I know how they operate. They will get their money back simply by dragging out the amount of lessons you need. You would never know, if your instructor says you need another five lessons before your test, then you will pay whether you need them or not. Your not going to argue the point with him/her....are you.

The real winners are the Mail who have "Teamed up" with the AA. Teamed up = business deal = money, which the customer ultimately pays.
#7
Yes, I will argue. If I know I dont need the lesson, I dont pay. Simple as that. It obviously differs from person to person.
#8
Everyone relies on their instructor to judge their readiness for test. you can argue all you like, but if he/she is saying you are not ready, "for whatever reason" you will go along with their decision.
#9
how much are lessons thereafter? Last time I checked AA charge £25 a lesson.

Can I just sign up for a laugh? I can drive perfectly but I only have a provisional license. Would be nice to get a free test in edgeways before I go and do my test where ever

eh?

Where I live (not usually in this country ;)), the cops there are not particularly bothered if you drive around sensibly. So the real reason I have not got my full license is that I have been driving fine for the past few years.

Now im back in blighty I need to get myself a full license.

I lived in a town with a population of 1,000, surrounded by mountains and roads that look like dirt paths. The chances of meeting up were pretty damn slim.

Back in an urban area again. Its different.

I am staying temp accomodation in a terrace house. How can people live like sardines?:?

I booked my 1st free lesson with AA for nothing. Hopefully others have made good use of it too.
#30
Anyone benefit from this?
#31
Is this good for a refresher lesson?
#32
You get the car for 1 hour with a full time AD Instructor, so I guess it is good enough. Will let you know when I have done mine. I shared this with the people next doors & they had their lessons yesterday. They were very pleased.
#33
Easy as much as it can bee

No questions asked.
