I asked orange if this was genuine offer from them, told it was not from Orange....
that's not to say it isn't a genuine offer from whatever company, just be a little wary of anything described as 'free'.
hope it does work for you, maybe it's an advertising company or something else totally harmless.

I automatically assumed it was a real offer from EE as they occasionally do these free credit offers for their EE/Orange/T-Mobile PAYG customers

​it may be real, but not directly from Orange. the operator I chatted with said sometimes companies do it as part of a promotional advertising campaign, but also warned it's not always as it seems.
