I last put this on 11 months ago http://www.hotukdeals.com/deal/56819/free-braille-bug-alphabet-card/ so for all you newbies out there here it is again.

Order a FREE Braille Bug alphabet card. It features all the letters of the alphabet in braille, a system of raised dots that are used for reading by people with no sight. Great for kids! Teachers can order these cards in bulk, too. Allow 3-4 weeks for delivery.

Many will order this just for the sake of it being free, why?

Unless you or a relative have no sight then don't ruin it for people that could really benefit from it.

:idea:It'll be a good resource to use with children - ie comunication, disability, senses etc

I don't get the cold vote either. I also work with children - but haven't had to work with any visually impaired as yet. I am wondering whether to get one - in case - or as a learning tool to teach the other children about braille. Voting hot anyway. This is an excellent tool for those who can make use of it

Just a thought - is English Braille different to American Braille? I know that sign language is quite different from experience.

The American Foundation for the Blind (AFB) created the Braille Bug® web site to teach sighted children about braille, and to encourage literacy among all children. AFB—a national nonprofit founded in 1921 and the organization to which Helen Keller devoted more than 40 years of her life—expands possibilities for children and adults with vision loss.

I try to encourage deaf awareness too, but I often complain that information is not readily available to provide simple sign posters. Anything that encourages positive awareness is a good thing, I'm sure you'll agree.
