Again mostly old stuff but there a lot of classics in there Homer, Dante, Dickens, Bronte etc.

So are these all so called Orphan works???

Thats where a large "charitable" organisation republishes your work and doesnt give you Royalties because they "try really very hard" to find out who owns copyright before they start making money (or not) out of them.... I think if you arent a large "chartiable" organisation its called piracy..

Not necessarily

Most of these will simply be out of copyright which in the UK is 70 years after the death of the author or 70 years after publication if the author is unknown

I think orphan refers to works within the 70 years but owner of the copyright is unknown or not established so any income must be ringfenced ( bit like dormant bank accounts )

A lot of good books to read. Pity the free ones are in PDF, thought I'd found a free source of ePub books. :)
