pretty good, I use cutePDF though, its free and converts anything (as it installs a printer, like this does)
Which is better?

This one or cutePDF?
I've used PDF creator for years, which also installed as a printer driver (you print to it to create a PDF)

Personally I would use PDFCreator or CutePDF (if its the same people who made CuteFTP) over the posted freebie (which I suspect may "borrow" code from these two projects anyway!)

CutePDF is probably one of the most widely used free PDF creators, and has not failed me over the years. However, my PDF creation needs are pretty simple, so this usually paid product might suit those who need more advanced functions... possibly...
CutePDF is probably one of the most widely used free PDF creators

A statement that I don't necessarily agree with (but not to split hairs as its still based on the samge GhostScript product to actually produce the PDF)...

If anyone is after advanced features, have you seen PDF Creator? It seems to cover many of the paid-for version features of CutePDF (professional)...
Its also easy enough to use if you only want a simple solution to producing PDFs.

From http://www.pdfforge.org/products/pdfcreator, the official site.

"PDFCreator is a free tool to create PDF files from nearly any Windows application.
Key Features:
* Create PDFs from any program that is able to print
* Security: Encrypt PDFs and protect them from being opened, printed etc
* New: Digitally sign your PDFs to ensure that you are the author and the file has not been modified
* New: Create PDF/A files for long term archives
* Send generated files via eMail
* Create more than just PDFs: PNG, JPG, TIFF, BMP, PCX, PS, EPS
* AutoSave files to folders and filenames based on Tags like Username, Computername, Date, Time etc.
* Merge multiple files into one PDF
* Easy Install: Just say what you want and everything is installed
* Terminal Server: PDFCreator also runs on Terminal Servers without problems
* And the best: PDFCreator is free, even for commercial use! It is Open Source and released under the Terms of the GNU General Public License"

The print several documents into one single merged PDF if an invaluable feature for me.

Now see how it compare to this:
Hi, do any of these allow you to edit and save a downloaded PDF form from the web. My footie team has PDF application forms that you download, but can then never enter text on to be able to return them by e mail.
Another one to try is Foxit. I use it and have had no issues.
Urm if anyone missed this then 'open office' which is always free allows the reading of all of those formats and you can export it to pdf, with the added advantage that you dont need to buy microsoft office. (http://www.openoffice.org/)
