PictureBox films on Virgin Media freeview for August
Got a pop up on my virgin box yesterday.
Around 60 films, with new ones every week.
Free for Virgin Media customers on M+ or higher TV package.
Films are mostly old, but better than I was expecting for free. Only one of the films says HD, but the quality seems reasonable (better than Love Film streaming when I tried that).

They're not great films, but they're on-demand for a month, and great for a rainy day -- which we aren't in short supply of.
Cold is a bit of an over-reaction.
Cheers, i will have a look at that. Watched frost/nixon today as i was never too sure about it, was a good film.

They are different packages.
M is the old equivalent of free view. M+ is not and contains more channels.
If you have M then you have free view and you're not paying a penny for your TV.
How rude of virgin to not give you free movies with your free TV.

Virgin Media M comes as part of a package, along with a telephone line - which is more expensive than many of its competitors - and a broadband service which is substantially more expensive than many of its competitors and often unreliable. VM may be robbing Peter to pay Paul but I reckon, at the end of the day, that M subscribers pay their way and, thanks to Virgin Media's unreliable service and limited options, get a second or third rate cable TV service.
