From IGN - "Internet Archive has added nearly 2,400 MS-DOS games to its steadily growing collection of classic software, including Bust-A-Move, Commander Keen, and Metal Gear.

The library of historic and obscure digital games is made possible with the use of software curator Jason Scott's EM-DOSBOX in-browser emulator."

This week I just got myself a retro PC for installing DOS 6.22 onto and fit in my old AWE32 to play some old titles. Maybe I needn't have bothered?

Duke was such a wierd game as a kid.

If you get Frontier- Elite 2 - ok. Descent with multiplayer - ok. Hired Guns - ok. Syndicate - good. Alien Breed -- good. Flashback -- good.

Otherwise - PC gaming was awful folks on MS-DOS.

Go play a flash Tower Defence game :) LOL

PS this post is a lie

Oooh, Warlords and Empire, two of the great turn-based strategy games. (Plus Warlords II and Empire Deluxe, but in both cases, the earlier one isn't as pretty but is better in many ways.)

Quite amazing something like Falcon 3 runs in a browser..

Oooh2, V for Victory, Operation Crusader, White Death - turn-based wargames - plus some very good RPGs like the first Eye of the Beholder two.

Best unfortunate title: "Rosemary West's House of Fortunes"!
