Claim your FREE 30 day PlayStation Plus Trial by submitting your name and email.

Code is emailed within 24 hours.

I have used this many times and am now currently on my 3rd free month of Plus! Make sure to turn off automatic renewal.

http://psplus.software.eu.playstation.com/

Don't forget to cancel the auto subscription if you don't want to pay for it after the trial period.

Go to the network icon on XMB
click account managment
go to transaction managment
go to Services list
playstation plus
click on your package
then click cancel automatic renewal

Simple as that . there might be an easier way-- but thats how i do it.

P.S. if you dont turn it off-- they will use the money in your Playstation account / or if you dont have money or not enough they will take the money from your card on file

Someone posted a deal HMV selling £29.99 for a year subscription. Kinda cheap for a year sub if you don't want the hassle of renewing the promo code every 30 days.

worked for me thanks :p

Can I ask how you're able to be on your third month of free trials?

Were you able to make them stack or did you create new PSN accounts each month?

You cannot stack the codes. I just made sure that automatic renewal was switched off and then once my sub expired I'd input another code. Hope that helps!

Good luck getting the code in 24 hours. More like 12 days in my case

Are you sure you can sign up for this more than once? I just finished a trial a couple of days ago and am now expecting a 12 months sub from Amazon in the next day or so. I will hang on if this code works and I get the email soon.

No, they have a 30 day licence attatched to them.

Also thanks OP, had the Facebook 30 day trial run out a week ago & this will do nicely!

Another couple of noob questions:

1) If I join for a year today and only download one game for month of December, am I able to download any other December games at any time (say Feb) whilst I am still a PS+ member or do you have to take advantage of what is on offer at that month with future play in mind?

2) If you download a game for December and then delete it in Feb to free up space, can you re-download that same game at any point if it isn't part of that current months PS+ freebies? I.e. does it work on a library basis such as kindle (you've obtained it and can download it at any time)

Thanks in advance.

1) Games get removed as new games get added to the Instant Collection. Some "headliner" games tend to last longer than others (inFAMOUS 2 and LittleBigPlanet 2 have been on since June), but there's no certainty of how long each will last. For example, Batman Arkham City was added on the December 5th, but is already being replaced on January 2nd. I'd say download them all, and just install/play when you want to, just in case. Dates of games being removed and added to the Instant Games Collection are usually summarized at the bottom of blog posts.

2) I know normal downloads work like that, but I'm not too sure if PS+ ones do. I think they should remain in your download list, and you should still be able to play it if you're a PS+ member. I still have expired betas in my download list, so I don't see why that shouldn't work to. Just remember to look in your download list rather than the store itself.

I am trailing PS+ on a 12GB PS, which means I can't install anything until I've sourced a (250GB-500GB) hard disk!
