I know it's all been posted plenty of times before and before long others will post about those who sponge off the state etc, however it is all part of the governments mandate that all energy companies HAVE to help customers reduce their use by something like £700m.

Also from the site and probably of much better 'value';

If you are eligible to receive free light bulbs then you can also apply to receive free loft and cavity wall insulation. Call 0800 092 3983 and quote GRG1 to find out if your property is suitable.

Once you have claimed your two free light bulbs, you can also claim an E.ON PowerDown energy saving plug that automatically switches off any equipment linked to your computer, such as printers, scanners and speakers when you shut down. See inside your light bulb pack for details.
British Gas doing same thing in today's express.
Shame its to over 70's only!
thats just one of the qualifying conditions, if you get one of the benefits in the OP then you can also get it.
So why is the title ***Over 70's only***?
