Red Alert Free Download (PC)
Such a great game! When I bought this, it was an 18 (I wasn't... shhh) but you can totally see how times have changed! Good fun just for zapping people with tesla coils.
Back in the day, EA released Red Alert free to download to encourage people to buy Red Alert 3.
This link is the best one i could find to provide official mirrors to download Red Alert - you can download the Allied and Soviet discs using the download links. Each file is 500mb. Really wanted to find the official press-release to back this up, maybe somebody else can?
• EA.com (Europe Mirror) - Allied Disc
• EA.com (Europe Mirror) - Soviet Disc
Enjoy!

C&C3 was great but RA3 was too simplistic and C&C4 was an insult to fans of the series (they tried cloning DoW2).
Generals 2 could have potential though.
I lost hours to it...

I think that it should play happily on modern computers (I guess there's always compatibility mode). One thing I did notice is that it plays on quite a low resolution!

Dune 2 was probably the game I played the most on my Amiga. Utterly Brilliant. Loved being Harkonnen or whoever they were, getting them missiles and devasters. Also loved how utterly pointless soldiers were.
Dune 2000 released on PC was pretty good too, but not original in any way really.
Does this work? Using Dosbox, I think.

Otherwise, maybe a virtual machine might work?
